Is it fair to say that without Oracles, IOTA by design will only be able to offer a very limited subset of existing Smart Contract functionality & will thus be inferior to EOS/other systems if they are able to provide both high level Smart Contract functionality as well as free & similar volume transaction capability?
No. I think iota can offer same smart contract. The team has figured out how to set up the transaction order in Tangle. Sencodly, iota use Tangle and is able to transfer both data and value freely between sensors in an IOT dynamic environment which can not be done by the platforms you mentioned. The platforms you mentioned are designed for different purposes. But the platforms don't have be mutually exclusive. Actually they can cooperate with each other. They can coexist in their different markeplaces and cooperate to create a bigger network. Basically they are apple and orange and not comparable.

I will have to learn more about & the advantages of free information exchange between sensors.

The July 2017 issue of Forbes magazine mentions IOTA. Page 70 IOTA " Bitcoin and Ethereum may be too expensive and slow for Internet of Things micropayments. IOTA could someday be in demand by Fitbits everywhere." (page 72 in the pdf) http://serialmagazinepdf.com/2017/07/66662/

best coin after ethereum
Without a doubt, the ONE and only non blockchain technology with revolutionary features that can't be found on other cryptos to date. It could even overtake some top 5 crypto someday.

best coin after ethereum
why? i just dont trust any coin w/o seeing who is involved. why doesnt iota reveal its team members? all the best promising ones do that. at least thats how i determine the real ones to the sketchy ones.

Nice to see, but why they link IOTA only with stupid fitbits? Its useful for many more IoT things. Or means "fitbits" at EN/US anything other/more than ?

Well, the unique link from you to your coins is a 81 char password formed of CAPS letters A-Z and number 9. If you are able to generate it and remember it then you can access your coins from any device.
