It seems like the Toronto Raptors stays the same after Leonard left the city. I can say, Siakam and Vanvleet really has potential when I was watching them in the 2019 NBA finals against GSW. Leonard just took all the credit because he's a superstar.
Raptors can still beat the Bucks in a seven game series this season.

Regular season and playoffs are so different, during the last playoffs, we thought that the bucks could easily beat the Raptors but it was the opposite that has happened, so even if the Raptors are doing well in the regular season, I don't expect they will be as good as last playoffs, I don't even think they will be in the East finals this season, sorry.. that's my opinion too.

I also thought they are not a finals contender this season. Even in the Eastern conference finals, I think they can't make it. They lack clutch players that could carry their game in the final minutes of the game.

I don't think so.
There is still Lowry and Ibaka in their midst. I think they can still make it in the playoffs.
They might not have the clutch player (although there is still Lowry) but they still have their chemistry.
You might also want to add the confidence which they have by now experiencing a Finals game.
They are the champions so they have the capability to make it again.

And just when we thought that San Antonio is out of tune, they go and win against Clippers and even taking a lead as much as 20 points. White had a good game with 17 dimes, but it was a complete game from Forbes, Mills and Trey Lyles plus the usual LaMarcus and DeRozan. Good win for them to get back on track.

You can't sleep on the Spurs, they are a legit team with a legit coach, they can beat any team in the NBA, even the best teams now.
Spurs really did a great job to Williams and Paul George as they only scored 5 and 7 points respectively.

on the other game, seems like the Blazers now have a big 3 that are consistent in scoring.
another win at home and these big 3 are scoring well

I agree, if San Antonio would just be consistent this year they could stay land in the playoffs.

What a game Hassan Whiteside, 10 blocks, setting a record for Portland.

It was a tough battle for Portland though, winning their last 3 games, Melo a tad slow but he is hitting his jump shot now. Rodney Hood also hits some crucial shots going 7 out of 12 from the field to get 19 points.

It is too early in the season. Things can still be turned around for SAS. They are a great organization and with the help of Pop, they can fix this slump they are in.

Do not underestimate this team. They are underestimated last year and they won the chip. Siakam is continuously evolving and improving. With the help of Lowry, Gasul and VanVleet and Ibaka, they can still snatch the Eastern Conference Finals.

It will be very difficult for Barney to reach the East finals but the possibilities is always there since they are competing a great ball from each game that they've take. They are not really "same after Kawhi left" because last season Kawhi wasn't making that much difference during the regular season neither. He played maybe 60 games or so? He wasn't really the big factor on the regular season games but on the playoffs Kawhi seriously brought all of his power and he was the reason why they got a championship.

Even without Kawhi raptors are a great team and the difference between Kawhi leaving and Kawhi playing has been recovered by Siakam and OG playing much better which combined makes up for the lack of Kawhi, however when the day comes and they play on eastern finals or regular finals and what not they may need Kawhi to take that last shot, defend that one superstar, have that one streak of field goals. This season all 3 big eastern teams could go to finals and I think that makes it so entertaining.

The team was boosted because of Leonard and also they have a new coach. Nurse is one hell of a coach for me. He did made a champion on his first year as the Toronto coach.
We all say it was because of Leonard but let us also give credits to the coaching staff. They did good specially with making plays in defense.

True. There is always a chance for that to happen. Toronto Raptors have gained so much confidence and chemistry.
Of course there is Siakam. Most Improved Player. You cannot just take that trophy without something to prove. He did make a statement by carrying the team while Leonard is having his beauty rest whenever they are going against a strong team the next day. 

How about VanVleet? He is also improving his game. His not the other guy anymore. He created a good chemistry for the whole team.

Damn! The Rockets dropped another 150+ game, this time against the Hawks. What's wrong with the NBA today? I mean is It really very much entertaining to watch the game with a lot ot bucket than to play tough defense?
I didn't watched the game, but a score above 110 or 120 is an indicator that the game wasn't playing good defense. Imagine a 158 points without OT 

Anyway, mad props to Harden for shooting above 50% overall and beyond the arc with a total of 16/24 fga. Quite impressive display of efficiency.

I like the a more defensive team, its more entertaining for me because I like the old fashion, NBA nowadays are soft.

I think luka is the new face of the nba with his performance in the past games.
Today he went toe to toe with lebron and even shot a three right in his face in the fourth quarter. At that point I knew the game was over cause he took all the energy out of the lakers after playing such good offense and defense today.
He alone out shot the entire lakers team at one point in the 3rd quarter with them having 15 points and him having 20 points alone.

Clippers are the clear favorite, but I plan to play it on +8 @ 2.90.IMO it's worth the risk at that odds.
