And yes, they played better that night and I think Davis played well in that game too. Well, he did 33 points today but that's because he was forced to do so without any help offense from their other teammates. That's what they lack, more offensive players because AD's defense is good and other players like Austin Reaves are also playing great defense.
Actually, the Nuggets played at their worst tonight, 5/28 at the 3-point line. That's not them. 13 turnovers against the 7 of the Lakers. The big difference came from the offensive rebounds and 2nd chance points.
As I said, the Lakers played great defense but cannot convert them into a score. Well, I am glad I made a bet at halftime for the Nuggets while the Lakers are in a 4 point lead.

First, congratulations to you win, and yes I agree that the Lakers played good defense but could not make their shots. They should have a good shooting since they are on their home court, but they are missing beyond the arc shots which they usually does in the last 2 games. I understand that the game is getting too  physical as the Lakers would not allow to be in 0-3 hole, but the Nuggets which has the heart of a champion understands how important every game is. I think we can consider this first round series done, because if the Lakers will come back, they'll be the first in the history, as the announcers said during the game, it's not impossible but improbable.

Unlike Nuggets even they are struggling they really fighting hard to take the ball back and re-try their shots while Lakers even how tough their defense if they can't convert those opportunities Nuggets can easily take it back, DLo's productions is barely needed here but he failed he's presence, and still the center of their system is for both LeBron and Davis which is good in terms of converting the mismatch though even how hard the stars are trying role players productions are also needed so while they are resting the offensive attacks will continue, not the case today, Nuggets is really read the system and how Lakers execute and they again overrun them.

Just like the comments above, DLo's help can aid them and surely will have a good impact for them, also with Rui guarding Jokic, that's affect his offensive capabilities, Jokic's skills is really special even how tough your defense he will find the way and if ever you corner him he always have that option to pass the ball with his good eyesight to where the open teammates direction. 3-0 against the defending champ? early exit again and might be another sweep for the Lakers.

We will be expecting a huge adjustments on the Laker team and I'd be damn surprised if they decide to keep Darvin Hamm, the man was just not ready to coach a team, his rotation and time out calls are always off. Coach Malone just completely dominated and destroyed him and the whole Laker squad.

I hate this first round match up. I think Boston will win the series this time. But who knows. One thing I do not understand though is how unlucky Miami is after years of failing to get another superstar to partner with Butler.

Porter Jr, despite his issues with his brothers are shooting very well in this series and no one can stop him at that position as well. And the veteran Aaron Gordon, good at defending Lebron in the wings and then he also has the basketball IQ to cut when Jokic is double team for easy two. To be fair, any team in the West right now might have a difficult time dealing with the Nuggets offensive, led by Jokic. So probably the Lakers will need another overhaul, just like what they did after winning a championship. Maybe Austin Reaves is the only player that I think will remain with AD and Lebron. But now, it's not Lebron who is carrying the Lakers, it's actually Anthony Davis but their roster is not strong enough and Lebron numbers are not enough to beat the defending champion.

That's probably because you aren't aware that their best player Giannis was out?
Because if he was playing, then it's possible that they can sweep the Pacers, but please don't underestimate that team because that was the team that beat a healthy Bucks in the in season tournament.

It's not surprising to see a triple double for Jokic as it has already become his normal. He will be one of the greats when he retires,  people will remember here especially that he humiliated Lebron in their 2nd attempt in the playoffs.

Watching the Lakers now. They’re playing dominant so far after one quarter but that’s how the whole series has been going. We’ll see how long they can keep it up.

And they got destroyed again by Nuggets in the late game. This is always the problem of Lakers when it comes to dealing with Nuggets. They can’t find a way to lock down Jokic being pesky with his assist and attack in the inside once Lakers defenders was focused to the perimeter shots of Nuggets.

This will be a back 2 back playoffs sweep for Lakers made by Nuggets if ever they lose the game 4 which is highly possible considering how they can’t find a way to deal with Nuggets.

It’s an end of an era for the King. I smell change team for the last time.

PS: The rebound count of Nuggets show how dominant they are on this game since all of them is making an effort to save the ball.

I hate to say this, but the series is over. It is over the moment they lost game 2, where they had a 20-point lead against them. That game will cost them mentally because the win is already in their hands and they just lost with a shot. It was really unfortunate to see LeBron get swept once again against the same back-to-back season; maybe father time is catching up and slowly winning. I really don't know what the Lakers and LeBron will do after this season. Will they break it up and LeBron go to another team? Or run it back to have a chance to win again. But for me, there's one thing I want the Lakers to do: get rid of Darvin Ham, get another coach who knows how to run plays, and have accountability. I am tired of all of his motivational words whenever they lose games. He should be a motivational speaker, not a coach. Maybe the Lakers should've not fired Vogel after all.

Bucks vs Pacers
Pacers were just better in this game. They did not have negative points in any quarters of the game. And they have played well throughout the whole match. they were in control of the match from start to finish. The opponent did actually give a good competition. But they were unable to actually win. By the way an incredible performance from Siakam.

Davis played really well for the Lakers but the performance from the Nuggets was good overall. Many players had actually contributed for the Nuggets. Which actually did not happen for the Lakers. And that is a big reason why I think the Lakers actually lost the match.

Three good games on today. I’ve got to say that I think the matchup of Dallas and the Clippers is my favorite so far of these playoffs. They’re both great teams that play exciting basketball. That will be a fun one to watch. The later game with the Suns and Timberwolves should be another great game to watch packed with star power. A good night for NBA basketball.
