A win for Jrue it is.
With that period of time, Jrue has got a home to stay but yeah, it couldn't be a good deal for the Celtics but they probably are seeing something with him.
On the other hand, I am pretty sure that the majority of us are excited to see what will happen on the match of the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers.
Both are great team and on the better standing on this first round seed.

Congrats to him, he was able to land such a huge contract and it's a boost on morals for veteran players because if they work hard and keep doing what they have been known for, they could also get such huge money as well as long as they make good contributions to their teams. The problem with them is, that when they finally land a good contract, they end their quality training right there and their playing is dramatically decreased because they slack off on practice just because they secured huge contracts in their early NBA careers, at the end, no one would give them back such huge one because they are no longer the player who deserves that much.

I don't think that those who have taken a long contract are becoming slack. It's possible to be like that when they've got injury and they need to take a rest.

But the majority of them knows that this is business and that's the capital that they're investing for them to get those contracts through continuous training.

That's their bread and butter and whoever is taking it for granted will be noticed and the team's management still has the take to end the contract without prior notice if it's in the clause.

Currently, the Suns is winning against the Timberwolves and the Pelicans is losing to the LA Lakers. If this situation continues, meaning the Suns win and the Pelicans lose, who will be the 6th seed and who will be the 7th seed to play in the Play-In tournament? I want to see the Suns vs Lakers in the Play-In tournament; these two teams have a rivalry in the Western Conference. And then hopefully Lakers will win so that Suns have just to destroy Warriors. Currently, the Suns is winning against the Timberwolves and the Pelicans is losing to the LA Lakers. Warriors as well in a good position to win, and so does the Suns as well.

So it's really cluster down from the 6th-10th position and we even in the play-in and yet these teams are already competitive down the stretch and wanted to get as much win as they can. So regardless who are going to face in the elimination or play-in, this is going to be as competitive as the final 4 or a NBA final games. And most of them has history already, James vs Curry, Kings vs Warriors rivalry.

What a conundrum as the Lakers and Pelicans winner will have to face an away series against the Nuggets.  It's so so bad to lose that game and hope for a win the next game to line up against okc.  Might just be me but I'd much rather see a young okc team than jokic and squad in the first round.  Not that you'd want to purposely lose but it's just not as bad as everyone would think it is.

I wasn't monitoring what's happening in the East recently so I was surprised that they were no. 2 when I checked earlier. It's not to underestimate the Knicks but I think the Heat or the Sixers are in luck since they have a better chance winning the first round than facing the Bucks or the Celtics.

Sadly it won't be happening because as we know the Lakers have climbed to the number 8 seed. They are against the Pelicans this time unless they are destined to have a match-up in a do-or-die situation when they lose to the Pelicans and that would also be possible because this is not an easy team to get through with Williamson around they will be having real hard time to stop him. It might cause them serious trouble if they even force it, they will just get bulldozed if they don't get out of the way.

I would like to take chances here,  this game is very important for both but on the gamblers side, I think the underdog gives more value here so I'm betting on the moneyline for LA Lakers.

Also, it is the Lakers, and players always want to play against them after being injured for a long time (LOL). But I think despite whether Ingram will be playing or not, the Lakers can still manage to get this win since both LeBron and Davis are playing, and this is also an important game for them. The Lakers also have the lead in their season matchup, 2-1. Another thing I want to add is that I think that they (the Lakers) want to bounce back from that horrible game against the Grizzlies. So we can see both teams giving their best in this game.

He had a decent shooting though but he is only given limited minutes. I think the missing piece here is Zion because he only score 12 points in total from a tough shooting night with 4-13. They cannot win with that number as that would only say that the Lakers have locked him down.

By the way, some good news from the Lakers because this man Austin Reave had complicated the whole season without resting a single game.

That denver swept the lakers again in the regular season this year. The lakers lost all of their last 8 games against denver. I think the Lakers are seriously going to lose to the pelicans and try to beat the warriors-kings winner and match up with okc. But if they lose in the second play-in game while trying to do this, they will be humiliated. So it makes more sense to play denver. If they somehow eliminate denver, they will become legends. If not, it will be "they were not expected to beat".

The Pelicans are an easier opponent for the Lakers than either the Kings and Warriors, so I think that's way better even if it means they're going to face the Denver Nuggets in the first round if they get past the Pelicans in the 1st round of the play ins. I hope they will get this chance for a shot of redemption. Theres nothing better of a revenge to a team who swept them by both playoffs and season games than to eliminate them in the first round.

I think what lacking on them is their ability to shoot outside, they are not a good 3 point shooting team, unlike the Nuggets who have the size but at the same time are also good in outside shooting.

Zion needs to work with his capabilities and put things on his shoulders, if he continue playing like this then they might lose their chance to move forward, though maybe they are trying to avoid playing against Denver, but they will risk their chance if they again lose against the Lakers this coming Play-in, as both Kings and Warriors are also a strong competitors for the last playoff position,

You know what's lacking on the team aside from their ability to shoot outside? Leadership. LeBron you might say? I agree with that, but having a coach that the team doesn't like has an effect on the whole team. I guess we will all agree that the Lakers wanted to fire Darvin Ham already. I just don't know the reason why they didn't do it TBH, but I will not be surprised if he will get fired and will have a new coach next season.

Nuggets is just their next problem once they manage to win the spot.

Before the start of the playoffs, I already predicted that the Nuggets will win the Western Conference again, and will be going to the NBA Finals and from there, they will be facing the Celtics because I don't see any team in the East that can defeat the Celtics in 7 games as well. Heat maybe?
Well, it seems like the Bucks dodged a bullet because they went down to the 3rd spot because of how awful they played ever since Giannis is out but for me, they did it on purpose because they don't want to face either the Sixers or the Heat in the first round because they know they can't defeat them especially the Sixers with Embiid. For them, the Pacers are a much better opponent since they don't the playoff experience yet. Even though the Bucks lost to the Pacers in their regular season match-up 4-1, I think the Bucks have a better winning percentage against the Pacers who doesn't have any experience at all compare to both the Heat and the Sixers.

Nah, I don't think the Lakers will risk playing a do-or-die game between either the Kings or the Warriors. Comparing them to the Pelicans, the Pelicans are a much easier team to beat, so it is better to win their first play-in rather than facing either the Kings, which AD hasn't won against Sabonis (he is 0-8 against Sabonis, btw), or the Warriors, who still have their power in them and might wake up anytime soon. If the reward for beating the Pelicans is facing Denver in the first round, then so be it; they're going to face them sooner in the playoffs, so it is much better to face them early when they still have fresh legs. I think that is one of the reasons why the Lakers got swept last season; all of them are tired from playing too many games, especially Lebron, and you can clearly see it in the last game of the WCF. Lakers also got new guards that can guard Murray, Vincent, and Dinwiddie, who can take the defensive assignment and DLo and reaves on the offense. If the Lakers manage to beat Denver in the first round, then it will be much easier to get that chip.
