42 points lost!? to the so called captain of the west?? haha
What a shock to most. It was like watching road kill slowly dying on the side of the road. They did pull out their offer for Anthony Davis earlier in the day. This is so bad to see... I don't know what really happens in the dressing room but it is bad behavior from LeBron. I understand that he doesn't agree with Walton in some things but this shows disrespect and unprofessionalism. He is so influential and he can motivate his fellow players to improve their performance. And I am saying all these with huge respect to LeBron. I am a huge supporter of him. He should better move instead of acting like this. The youtube video shows what actually happened with Rondo going to the bench then he grabbed some towels. Picture is worth a thousand words but it is still funny even though it isnt what you think had happened.

I'm out in the calendar but I did not witness how good Carter during his prime, I'm not a big fan of NBA that time and I only knew them in news but not really watching a lot. I just started watching NBA regularly like 8 years ago and I believe Carters best moments was with Toronto Raptors.
You can watch those highlights on youtube and see on how Vince Carter moves inside the ring. He's a bit old now and he doesn't have the mainstage that was given to him during his glory days. You're still in the good time to see those highlights. You may watch this: Vince Carter Top100 Dunks of All-Time

Sixers acquired Tobias Harris and Boban Marjanovic from clippers for a lot of picks and some players however picks are what the important part is. Sixers literally said the tank and process is over and they don't care about the picks anymore and the future and gave up their firsts, instead they got Harris which is a great player and Boban for a backup to Embiid from the bench.
They are really going for it this year and looking at the east they are possibly the best team there. Raptors are good but not as good as they hoped they would be, Celtics are good but they are not as good as last year and Gordon is not making a good comeback and Kyrie is having chemistry troubles again.
I think Sixers will get to the finals this year since with butler, Simmons, Harris, Embiid they are really unstoppable and have a lot of all-star level talent. Of course they will lose against warriors for sure but at least they will get to finals.

One of the memorable plays of Carter that I can't forget (I alwayd watch gameplay highlights in youtube) is that when he dunk against a very tall player which come from a European team I think.

Although it's a good trade and the 76ers didn't lose any of their key players you will see that this deal is a short term solution for the season. Both Reddick and Tobias Harris will be a free agent next season while Jimmy Butler has his last season as a player options, things could really go sideways when they fail to even reach the finals. The bottom line is some of their key players this season might not even resign for another season and that would be a tough time for the 76ers to adjust, both Harris and Butler might be looking to sign a max deal so they will really need to let someone go. Maybe that is why the Clippers made this trade as it fits perfectly on their situation as well as their future, getting two first round picks for a expiring contract.

The lakers chemistry must be horrible right now, half the players know they can end up being traded and Lebron already wants Luke Walton gone. This doesn't surprise me, Lebron always calls the shots no matter what team he goes to.
Yes, they're in a messed right now, specially those young guys hearing trade talks going around behind. There are even reports that Javale and Luke was going at it in the locker room. This is the worst of Lebron's career, a 42 point loss.

There are lots of the team on the East which can give them a difficult path to finals. I see the recent trade favored the Sixers as it will give more firepower to the current roster, including the bench revamp because of the addition of giant Boban Marjanovic, but still I can't see a clear chances for them to reached the finals "100%". For the record and I will give some examples, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks are playing in a different level during season and playoffs. These teams also have a changed in rosters ( e.gnow w/Kyrie, now w/Leonard, w/ improved Giannis) so expect that it's not the same team before during the last playoffs. But of course, let's not closed the book. Surely Sixers is one of the strong contenders in the East. Joel Embiid is doing well in their recent games. He is really pushing his goal this season (if you guys remember) that he wants to win the season MVP title this year.

This is the worst of Lebron's career, a 42 point loss. They should not act like that, they need to be professional, the more they will be traded if they will not play their best. Even if they get traded, there's still a chance they will improve because Lebron is known to be a bad teammate since most of the plays are design for him.

"SIXERS TITLE ODDS SPIKE AFTER TRADING FOR HARRIS, AND TODAY'S NBA ODDS AND ANALYSIS"
So now that the Sixers can boast a starting lineup of Harris, Joel Embiid, Jimmy Butler, J.J. Reddick and Ben Simmons the Superbook at Westgate bumped Philly from 16/1 to 10/1 to win the NBA title, while the Raptors dropped from 8/1 to 10/1. The Celtics still have the best odds to win the title out of all the Eastern Conference teams at 8/1. The Bucks held steady at 12/1.With these title odds above, I think the Bucks are underrated and the Celtics are still overrated. Bucks is on the no. 1 spot in the East and they showed their consistency recently dominating their opponent whether it's a home or road game. What your thoughts on this? https://www.covers.com/Editorial/Article/f6d8cbd9-2a3e-11e9-a984-125516351e3a/Sixers-title-odds-spike-after-trading-for-Harris-and-todays-NBA-odds-and-analysis

I agree, I still think that Bucks is underrated by bookies and lest they forgot Bucks has one of the most dynamic talent in the NBA right, Giannis Antetokounmpo who is still not hitting his prime and yet is playing like a NBA MVP. Sixers line up though is solid, but we don't know until we see Harris chemistry with the Sixers. Simons is there but not the same as we have seen him last year, maybe he adjusted when Butler gets in so it's interesting how the team will adjust again.

Exactly, Lebron usually clashes with his coach and specially if he didn't like how the team is doing. So I'm not be surprised if he is calling the shots and he wanted Luke Walton out of the Lakers. It's too bad though that it will took the toll on the young players in the current roster. Well it looks like the AD drama is over as Lakers already pulled out of the deal. So let's hope those young players will get over it and start to play good basketball again.

This guy has been underrated but most of us knew it on how he plays well and they shouldn't treat him as someone that they can underestimate. I think he's going to his prime but he has need to gain more experience. I've heard others call him the next Lebron but I wouldn't trigger a comparison on this thread. Sad to see that the bench of Lakers wasn't filled with other bench players and Lebron was captured sat away from others.

Lebron does what he does, and prior to the acquisition of Lebron, the management already knows Lebron's background. They'll not let him feel bad because he is the star of the team and it shows on how big the improvement of the Lakers now. After this drama, everything will be back to normal, Lakers will playing a better basketball than their past and they'll be in the playoffs. I'm not in doubt about them getting into playoffs, but I'm more concern on how far they can go, if they can only acquire AD, they'll have a better playoffs journey.

Yep, he is really underrated maybe because he is playing with a team that the media is not focusing at the moment, they would rather watch Lebron or GSW or Harden. He is slowly getting the experience and he is improving every year and carrying this team to where they at right now. Experience will come and we just wish him that he wouldn't get any injuries or something so that we can watch more exciting basketball from him.

Since there is no chemistry with Lebron and the whole Lakers team. Guess what will happen?
Magic wants a championship and he does want it with Lebron that is why he pulled all the strings to get him. He might release all this young guns, Kuzma, Ball and Ingram for what? Yes, for veterans again just so to get that championship that he want. If not then maybe another superstar or maybe two. He will have a large space for his salary cap and also he will get profit from it since it will be filled with people every game.
He just cannot wait for that chemistry to be created so better use another option. Lebron is aging and Magic's investment must be fruitful.
Just my opinion.

I think things will not be the same in Lakers organization for Lebron. He normally calls the shots because he was in a team like Cleveland who never won before him and was in Miami before that which one just couple years prior but also didn't have anyone but wade on their team. Here in Los Angeles people have seen 5 and more championships in their life time depending on their age, they would rather see Lakers fail and not make the playoffs than see their team run by a player.
Even Kobe played on Lakers and just tried his best with whatever was given to him and never tried to run the organization. Lebron can try his best to influence things but Lakers decided to go for Anthony Davis themselves, who wouldn't want AD on their team ?
Lakers wanted him and did things their own way, it wasn't just Lebron who wanted AD it was Lakers organization as well and he had nothing to do with trade talks neither. So I think all these chemistry issues resulted with Lakers Organization showing they are disloyal to their young core and had nothing to do with Lebron.

Anymore trades which have materialized since it is near the trade deadline? I think the most noteworthy one was the Tobias Harris trade to the sixers. But I think there will be more teams trying to offload their injured players so to lessen their teams salary cap. Just like the knicks did with porzingis.

It's very cool that The process worked. Congratulations to Sam Hinkie, who unfortunately can not participate in the best part of his project. But he proved that he was right.
Sixers now set up the team for the only challenge left, which is to be a contender. They have a good chance of being the division champion.
