Celtics had multiple chances to win the game. Wasn't a big lead til the last few minutes when they took a bunch of bad 3 point shots. Looked like a lot were rushed and bad shots. Embiid and Maxey were clutch the whole game though, gotta give them props.

They relied on that a lot, and that was really the reason they were able to come back. They were down by as much as 18 points in the 3rd, and still ended the quarter trailing by only 13. It got really close, but their shooting just didn’t cooperate in the final minutes of the game. Still, that game was really for the Sixers because they earned it. They were consistent from the very beginning, and they knew exactly how to use Maxey. His speed really killed Boston.

Finally, Embiid is no longer losing to the Celtics. He even said before the game that he was already tired of losing to them.

He even copied Lebron's outfit before the start of the game when they faces the Warriors and down 3-1 that finals. So it's a forthcoming sign for the Sixers that they can't be denied in this game. Just imagine seeing the Celtics missing a lot of shots that they supposedly make before.

And it's good to see that the Sixers has finally get over the Boston. Their fans say they want the Boston Celtics, they got their wishes and then win the series in game 7. But not sure how healthy Joel will be in the next series as his body did take a lot of beating in this game alone.

In the game played last night, they lost again, this time 100-109.
Boston was my favorite in this round, but they couldn't advance.
San Antonio and OKC were the strongest championship contenders, but they will most likely face each other in the conference finals.
I think San Antonio will eliminate Minnesota in the second round, but although OKC is the favorite in the Los Angeles Lakers game, the Los Angeles Lakers are playing very well. LeBron, in particular, is playing exceptionally well. If Doncic recovers from injury, the Los Angeles Lakers could eliminate OKC in this round.

Boston failed to capitalize on home-court advantage and was eliminated by Philadelphia in the first round of the playoffs.

They failed 3 times, including that last game. Imagine that, in the whole 7-game series, they only won once on their home court. That’s insane.

Boston really didn’t look like a team ready to win a championship this season. It just wasn’t for them, and it even feels like Tatum’s comeback came at the wrong time and ended up with an early exit.

Now Philly looks very confident heading into the 2nd round against the Knicks, and honestly, with their defense, I think they can advance to the conference finals. The thing with Philly is they have a lot of weapons. The 5 guys on the floor can all shoot from outside. Hopefully Embiid will be fully healthy going into the next round, because it looked like his knee got bumped many times.

Philadelphia 76ers got good lead in first quarter which was very much neutralised by Celtic in second round but then again a good comeback by philadelphia in third quarter. Philadelphia 76ers got the win because of good scoring from Emblid and Maxey. Embiid added 34 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists while Tyrese Maxey scored 30 points along with 11 rebounds.

So I think all we can really do now is hope for a miracle and that the Lakers somehow upset the defending champions.

But it's a very series as the Sixers do take control when they steal one at the homecourt of the Celtics. And then Boston keeps on shooting from the outside specially in the 3 point area. Yes, that keeps them afloat when then won, but when you rely on your outside shot and they are not falling, and you don't have a plan B, then you are going to lose to a team that has Joel Embiid. Sixers trying to go small and think that Jaylen Brown can guard Embiid, lol.

It was being compared to what happened in the past, the OKC team with Durant and Westbrook against the Warriors with the Splash Brothers, where the Warriors came back and won that series, and I think they even went on to win the championship.

So if we use that as a comparison, then maybe it’s also possible that the Sixers could end up winning the title now.

Looking at early situation on that series we could really see that Sixers is done, because we could see that its impossible for them to win against Celtics. But suddenly there's great changes happen and Sixers manage to get back on their feet and impressively demolished Celtics.

We could see it here that anything is possible and the return of Embiid is one of great factor on why Sixers manage to defeat Celtics and all of them play well in this series. They push to much their small ball line up and it end up so bad on the side of Celtics.

The biggest surprise of the series was that Lakers didn't even need Doncic to eliminate them. LeBron did a really good work during most of the series. When he gets enough help they are able to reach around 100 points.

Well when Durant is out, there are not that many offensive threats on the team, and while they may have done it once, doesn't mean that they have to do it over and over again. Lakers knew exactly what the plan was for Rockets and they defended very well thanks to that.

Lakers did not need to even play that much of a great offense, they did alright, but because game ended very early on, they didn't even keep playing hard, they even had like 5 minutes of garbage time give or take. Rockets will be better next season when Durant, Fred, Adams are all back.

tbh both teams performed quite poorly. Rockets being the worse of the two lost the game. it’s a painful but expected outcome.
Houston has drifted away from the team identity they had last year. Next season they’ll likely become a team built around FVV, Durant and Amen Thompson.

Yeah and very boring to watch except if you bet Lakers since they are winning despite having a poor performance just because Houston performed worst.

I didn’t expect Rockets to play this very poor on playoffs after their good regular season run on the mid season.

Can’t imagine 41yr old Lebron still dominating young talent Rockets that branded as next potential powerhouse team.

yeah. Basically, Rockets blew the series to a 41 year old man . he threw down an alley oop with his son and in Game 3, his son actually outscored the entire Rockets bench.
They lost the series to a Lakers team with a limited roster and terrible defense even while their first and second leading scorers were out... really shame.

Honestly, you never know with these things, but I feel like whoever comes out of the West is taking the chip. OKC looks like they might straight up sweep the Lakers.
Kinda sucks we won’t see a Spurs vs OKC matchup in the finals, that would’ve been fun as hell. But yeah, one of those two is probably coming out of the West. I’m rooting for the Spurs though.
The East is a total mess right now, 3 series going to Game 7 is crazy. And yeah, the Sixers pulling off that upset against the Celtics was huge.

Celtics, Nuggets and Rockets are all out in the first round already. We are getting quite interesting results in playoffs this year.

This is the end of the road for Lakers too of course unless Thunder play horrible which I don't see likely. But still they have reached a little beyond the expectations without Doncic.

I was hoping to watch a nice series between Celtics and Knicks. The same for Nuggets against Spurs as well. It is quite disappointing.

Pistons and Magic play early on S Sport. So far it's a close game. Jalen Duren looked better today, Pistons need him to make a difference. Cade also started hot, but Banchero as well.
Refs are horrible. Pistons lost their challenge for nothing and right after that refs blew whistle on Jenkins, two wrong decisions. We all know how bad they were in regular season but this is play-off basketball, they have to be more careful, especially on a Game 7.

Yes, the 76ers had a good start to the game, but it seemed like they let their defense down a bit too early in the second quarter. As a result, the Celtics went on a decent run, thanks mainly to some great play by White, and the score was tied at halftime. It looks like the second half of this match will be very intense and close.

They ended it well, what a come back for the 76ers. Their next opponent will be the New York Knicks.
Both are good teams. It was so close for the Celtics but that's it, their journey ends and has been ended by the 76ers.
And an update with the Pistons/Magic game 7, the 3rd quarter is about to end and we might see Pistons finishing it.

I want to see Cleveland win the series later but, it's a good line up if the Raptors will win against them. Oh well, either of them are good contenders and whichever team wins later is the strongest. It would matter a lot on how they handle crucial games.

None. I believe the Pistons will become the champion eventually. They barely passed the first round but this is very similar to 2003 series. That year Pistons beat Magic in the first round coming behind 3-1 again. They didn't become champion in 2003 but same players did it one year later. Either Cavs or Raptors, it shouldn't matter at this point. Celtics are out, which is the thoughest competitor to me. I think the Pistons have an easier path to finals now.

Cunningham lead the team. Duren played his best game this series. Jenkins finally made a meaningful contribution from the bench. Tobias Harris played amazing. Second half of Game 6 and 7 Pistons look like they are unbeatable.

Shout out to Banchero though, he never gives up. It's a shame his teammates couldn't help him. He has a long career ahead of him though, he can achieve success with either with Magic or in another team.

Magic seemed to have the better chance since the Pistons were not really battle-tested in the playoffs, but they already proved they are for real. Being the number 1 team in the East and now advancing to the 2nd round, I think they will face a much tougher challenge, so let’s see.

As long as the roster stays healthy, they have a good chance.
And if they make it to the NBA Finals, I’d probably bet on them if they face OKC Thunder.
