OKC was already strongest team for this season and now other teams have started dropping like flies. Doncic is out, Edwards is out, Wembanyama is on the edge and Tatum is sidelined... even if everyone were healthy, they didn't stand a chance against OKC. if things keep going like this, they’ll cruise to a championship with a 16-0 run.

Well Spurs currently is the only team that can beat OKC and they have prove it in their outings, aside from the spurs im pretty sure its just walk in the park, the lakers need to exert more effort in this series or it will be a sweep, if that is not something wrong happen to the stars of OKC, since we are seeing a lot of injuries.
But we are excited on the outcome of this second round in the east and the west, who do you think will come out in the east and the west? who is the team you are rooting for in this showdown of east and west.

yeah, Spurs might actually push OKC. By winning a game where they were down by 19 points with a 21 point lead, they showed just how strong and resilient they are. but their playoff experience is close to zero. even if their half court offense isn't exactly elite, i think it's still solid enough for the postseason.

I would not call it a shock though, since the Sixers are more experienced than the Knicks when it comes to the playoffs, at least in my opinion. And tonight we’ll see Game 1, which should give us some hint about how this series might go.

What worries me is Embiid, because he does seem to be showing signs of some injury issue. Hopefully it’s nothing serious, or maybe he’s just selling it a bit. But when it comes to the other players on the floor, I think it will be very hard for the Knicks to stop the other 3, PG, Edgecombe, and Maxey.

I still don’t have a full idea yet, but that’s my early assessment, and I think Game 1 could end in an upset.

I wonder if my picks are right this time. First round we saw some unexpected matches but teams that go through was pretty much expected, except Celtics and Nuggets. 6/8 for the first round is acceptable.

You might be right on this one because it really looks like the most predictable series. Even though LeBron still has that superstar status, and even if the Lakers might get some favorable calls from the refs, I still think OKC’s firepower is just too much to handle.

Because they don’t only rely on SGA. They’re simply the more complete team, they play great defense, and they know how to make their opponents struggle on the offensive end. Honestly, I think the Lakers would even be lucky just to get 1 win in this series.

I agree, as long as they remain healthy and complete. I guess that this is the 76ers that we're expecting to reach further in this playoffs.

I've seen a lot of discussions about OKC against Lakers. And most of the opinions are siding with the OKC, even I, even if I like Lakers a lot but if we're looking at the reality even they're complete. The OKC is just too strong and in their prime.

I would say if healthy Embiid will eat towns in the paint, if everything click the sixers are really a threat for the knicks, they are the bigger team in the east and there is no match for Embiid, If he can focus in the rim there will be a big problem, what i don't like is Embiid putting himself outside and try to dribble not only it will weaken him and make him injured because he will need to work from outside to inside which will put much pressure in the knee, so if he does things inside Sixers are good, also PG and Maxey and Edgecombe will give knicks trouble, but we should not count out the knicks they are also a good team.

The Knicks have had a great year and have looked good with Towns on the team. I agree Embiid is the best player out there but if my hopes are riding on Embiid and Paul George staying healthy then I am in for a bad time… I’m looking forward to the Towns/Embiid battle a lot.

Knicks became more stronger when Towns is in their them, also their match up with Embiid is provably fun to watch.

But yeah I agree with you Sixers chances to win will always depends if George and Embiid will remain healthy. The health of their stars is what they need to maintain to succeed in this round again. Embiid vs Towns will be the highlight one of the highlight in playoff and sure that fans love to watch them battling inside the paint scoring and try to get some rebounds.

The Knicks are in great shape right now, so they definitely have a chance to win this round. I’m also wondering who Grand Theft Alvarado will be guarding. That small guard is really fun to watch because he brings a lot of energy to the team, and it’s not just defense he provides, he’s also reliable on offense.

I think the Knicks have a lot of weapons, but at the same time, the Sixers just beat a giant in the Celtics, a team that had been beating them for a long time until this year. So they’re clearly aiming to keep going and reach the conference finals too. I can really see this series becoming another potential Game 7.

I wonder if he still have the guts to tell that knowing how great the Thunder team is right now. Kidding aside, the Thunder are the heavy favorites to win in this series and winning the title as well, and I will not be surprised if the Lakers will get swept on this one with or without Luka.

I also see Spurs advancing as I don't see anybody on the Wolves, even Gobert who can defend him for the majority of the game. Spurs in 6 games or even 5. As for the Pistons-Cavaliers, I think the Pistons ending it in 5 games isn't plausible. The Cavaliers are still a strong team for me, and they have more experience than the Pistons. Still though I would say that the Pistons will win on this one, but it will be a close one just like how the Raptors-Cavs are and it will end in 6 or even 7 games.

Knicks are ahead in this game, they are shooting lights out in three point line, they are up 20+ at the moment it seems that the sixers were surprise in this game, they are unable to capitalized embiid in the game, they need to adjust, its halftime 70+ points for the knicks, Brunson attacking them in three, will the sixers be able to comeback in this game, they should make this game exciting.
It seems that the spurs will advance if Anthony will unbale to comeback it would be very hard for the team to match up with Wemby, as we know he is more athletic and faster than Gobert, although they would put up a fight for sure, but who knows maybe they can upset the spurs?

The Knicks exposed the Sixers and Joel Embiid. They have Towns, who Joel can't guard as he has problems with lateral movements. Sure Joel was on the foul baiting, but it was not enough. And the Knicks didn't rely on outside shooting just like what Boston did that's why they've lost the series.

And the Knicks is a better defensive team that Celtics, they've shot down Maxey and it's only PG and the rookie who scored. But as you have said, the Sixers gave up game 1 and just decided to rest them early as not to push that someone might get injured.

What a game i thought Edwards will not play, this game is exciting, the game could have been overtime but instead they tried to win the game, I thought the wolves are in a disadvantage in this series, it seems they have what it take to win a game, lets see what adjustments would the spurs do in game two, the game is close in, the wolves lead by 9 in some point but the spurs can quickly erase it, too bad in the last minute they are still trailing, it should been overtime maybe they are all tired and want to win it, too bad the shot is short and the wolves survive what a dunk by wemby.

They were dismantled by the Knicks, also they are shooting poorly, while the knicks making easy baskets. Bronson really ignited the team in scoring, and the Sixers never had a chance to come back in the game, poor performance by the sixers in game 1.

Minnesota Timberwolves took a 1-0 lead in the series by defeating San Antonio Spurs 104-102 in the first game. I think the Spurs will win this series, but since Minnesota won the first game, this round will be difficult for them.
The Timberwolves have gained home-court advantage. The winner of this series may be determined at the end of Game 7.

In the other game, New York beat Philadelphia convincingly (137-98).
They also took a 1-0 lead in the series.
