The Spurs is again leading the Knicks right now, but it's not an assurance or guarantee that they can win because it has set a precedence in the last game wherein they lead as many as 29 points but then choke.

So for the funs of Spurs here (and for sure they are our favorite to win after they beat the Thunder), still a lot of minutes so don't just celebrate yet just like in game 4 wherein we though that it will be 2-2 going into this game 5.

Once again, they choke on the last quarter that caused them their chance to extend the series. Brunson do a lot of effort on ending this series on his own despite his teammates is performing below average.

I’m disappointed on Castle and Fox for their very poor performance on this series. Spurs will have a better chance to win the championship if they perform better.

once again, after starting the game behind in the first quarter, the knicks slowly closed the gap. at one point, they were down by as many as 16 points, and it was jalen brunson who kept the knicks in the game by a wide margin. i think brunson is the undisputed mvp of the finals. dylan harper off the bench was the one who kept the spurs in the game to some extent. in the final seconds, nearly every player missed free throws one after another, but in the end, the knicks won the game 94-90.

What a choke job from the San Antonio Spurs yet again, I’m extremely disappointed, I really don’t think it would have been this bad if it was OKC Thunder in the finals..

Yes, nothing to be ashamed of with their performance. 2nd seed, upset the top seed in their division. And just his second year in the NBA, he had made it to the finals. And it looks like he has that killer mentality.

So I have no doubt that he will come back strong next year. Core might still be there, and the Spurs will have to keep another run to see which one is not a fit and to be traded. But with Wemby at the helm, this is just the beginning for him and the Spurs.

I knew as soon as Knicks went on a 3-1 winning series, then there was something special about it, and San Antonio Spurs Couldn’t make a comeback in the game.

I know how devastated Spurs and Wemby would be right now, they should get themselves together and go again next season and try to win the NBA title.

KAT got into foul trouble early, that is why his numbers were not good. But do not worry, Brunson had it covered.

That is their weakness, and they have not really figured it out yet. As the coach said, who let the dogs out? That was the Knicks in the 4th quarter. They were full of hustle, grabbed the rebounds, and defended well, so the Spurs struggled with their offense.

It is the very same pattern. The Spurs lead early but lose it in the second half. They should be happy already that they won one game because before the Finals, the last 2 teams the Knicks faced were swept.

I do not find him arrogant. I think he just wants to convince himself that they can really do it and that they still believe they can make a comeback.

It is all possible really, because the last 2 games were just about bad decision-making in the 4th quarter. But they should not end the series still thinking about what happened in Game 4 because they owe a lot to the fans. And the fans can only forgive them if they win Game 5 tomorrow.

it’s great that he has belief, but i don’t think it’s right for him to just brush off the questions without even mentioning how badly they blew the game. i think a player should own up to his mistakes in a situation like this. in his postgame interview, wemby also mentioned that they weren’t the team hungry for the win in the second half.

also, take a look at jalen brunson’s comments when his team is leading 3-1. i think that’s the right approach. every game should be played as if the score were 0-0 until we become champions. every win is important, and no one should get complacent.

Seems like he was just all talk after all. He could not even lead the team to bounce back after that disappointing loss and now they lost again, so the Finals is over.

Their top scorer was Dylan Harper while Wemby just stopped scoring and still could not get his points inside. He kept getting pushed out, leaving him with no choice but to take outside shots where he was not effective. They have a break after this so maybe he should focus on adding more muscle and weight because he will need that next season if he wants to avenge this loss and make it back to the Finals.

Knicks deserved the championship to the end! Spurs really handed over the title to them man. Once again they had a good lead but still couldn't keep that until the end.

Brunson played the last quarter incredible!    He had the biggest role in the comeback there. Of course he was the player of the game too with 45 PTS. Congrats to him for being the finals MVP as well!

He's been limit due to his fouls and maybe this is the reason why KAT perform so bad today. But what''s actually important now is finally they won the championship, then again they manage to have a great comeback against Spurs.

I feel bad on Spurs because again we see them perform so bad on second half. But still great to see Wemby perform today and this is great sign that he might became more scarier in next season or if he matures more. Also Harper still consistent and until the end he keeps contributing for his team. Fox always sucks he made lots of errors, much better for Spurs to trade him and they should focus on Harper then make him a starter.

I think he really need to push the limit of the monk and navy seal training style more than ever, starting next week. He got a weak lower body strength, that's what he need to develop. He's been easily pushed by KAT and Mitch in the series plus he's not on the paint, he's probably want to avoid a possible injury if he goes there.

I am projecting that his body will look like Giannis someday. Once he turns into that kind of monster, he will be unstoppable. It is okay though, the Spurs team is still young. They can be like the young OKC before with Harden, where they made it to the NBA Finals but lost. There are still more seasons to come.

Maybe they can get rid of Fox and look for a more reliable point guard. This team is still a championship team. Even if they lost, I believe it will not be the last time we see them in the NBA Finals.

Cleveland's Harden arrested on gun charge

Cleveland Cavaliers guard James Harden has been released from jail in Houston after being arrested on Saturday morning for unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Harden was detained by a police officer at 03:41 local time after an unconcealed handgun was spotted in the cup holder of his Mercedes, according to court records.

The 36-year-old had been travelling through downtown Houston when he was stopped by the police, and the weapon was spotted when Harden drove up behind another vehicle.

Harden was arrested and booked at Harris County Jail after confirming the gun was his, and was later released on a $100 (£75) bond, with a court date scheduled for 22 June.

This could be the last day of the NBA season. I’ll admit I am a little disappointed in this season as Luka got injured right when things were getting interesting. Hopefully LeBron signs with the Warriors and gives us one last season of interesting discussion. That story seems to be ending soon as well.

They've been like that, they're good at taking the lead for the first half and then they can't take care of it until the end of the game. The Spurs has got that weakness and I think the coach did need some help from Barnes and Kornet but he didn't used them. I like Spurs to win the finals but they just can't and it's shown for the last games that they have. They've got the potential to come back next season and they know their weakness. I guess one more good PG that can utilize Wemby is going to make them unstoppable.

Another comeback of the New York Knicks from Spurs it's like a Dejavu since this happened already before where the Spurs were up by more than 15+ in the first half then losing on the last 2 quarters. James Brunson really did a great job and the rest of the Knicks and he really deserves the finals MVP, waiting for 53 years is no joke and they truly deserves it. As for Wemby and Spurs, most of them were new and this would be a great experience for them especially for Wemby since this is his first playoffs appearance and he already made it to the NBA finals, looking forward more on his improvement.

And that is the difference between their series against the Thunder, Wemby dominated both iHark and Chet. But against New York, he can't do that against KAT and Mitchell. Although he did play mind against against Mitch is not enough for him to dominate the center.

So what you said might be another factor that exposes the Alien and that's why they've lost. For sure, he will have to go back to the weight room after this loss and prepare and be strong just like what Jordan did when they've lost to Detroit or Kobe after they've beaten by the Boston Celtics. Joking apart, it was one of those nights again at which Spurs threw the game... You had one job! You led the game for 40 minutes and captured a lead like 16 points also.

Just don't mess it up right? A legendary championship for NY Knicks. 53 years! This was the best way to end the drought finally.
