That's why I said Warriors would be like a home for aging stars. Lol. Anyway, Curry at 38 is still hot. If Curry decided to get out of the Warriors, I don't believe it would just be Miami or Boston that would take interest. Look, just because Curry hasn't signed the extension yet, even if they know he's not allowed to sign it yet, not just teams but also fans of other teams want him to be on their team. The first was the Spurs. Lots of reaction videos were circulating right away on social media, and they wanted him to team up with the Alien. I can't imagine it. Wemby on the inside, Curry on the outside. That would be a lit combination.

Even at Curry's age, they are still not giving him an easy basket. That just proves he still has it. If ever he teamed up with the Alien, he would have someone to rely on or share the burden on offense.

There's no question about Curry, even at this age he is arguably the best shooter that we have seen. Maybe there are rumors that he wanted to get out of the Warriors because the management doesn't want to create a more competitive lineup just like in a couple of years ago when they became a champion.

But as for the destination if he goes to Spurs what will be the package then? For sure their young core will be broken and either Castle, Vassell or Harper. So it doesn't make sense for the Spurs to get Curry if they are going to suffer as they will lost their best players.
The spurs should think twice on trading for curry, although he is the best shooter in the league breaking your core and giving draft picks for aging super star is not a good idea, pop will not risk something like that as it will hurt their future, they have already a solid line up and acquiring curry might be a long shot.
I would say skip curry and find a free-agent in the market that will help them deepen the second unit,

As a Spurs fan, I want Curry to be added on their roster since his experience especially on being reliable on crucial time will be very important addition to Spurs arsenal.

But I do agree that there’s no point on acquiring him if they will break the young core players. Maybe Fox and some of their bench might be my preferred trade.  Cheesy

The Lakers aren’t doing too badly. The Walker Kessler move was exactly the sort of signing Luka needed. Everyone saw the struggle they went through under the basket in last season’s Thunder series; with Luka injured and no one left to defend the rim, the team completely fell apart. Kessler both grabs rebounds and finishes those lob passes from Luka – exactly the sort of player Luka would love. On top of that, the signings of Collin Sexton and Quentin Grimes look set to solve any scoring droughts from the bench. Last year, when Luka was on the sidelines, the offense completely ground to a halt; Sexton, at least, is the sort of player who can drive to the basket and create his own shot. Signing role players like Thybulle and Looney on the cheap has really added depth to the squad. Ayton’s departure was to be expected anyway; his lack of commitment simply didn’t fit with this team. Looking at it on paper now, Luka has found shooters around him and gained a shot-blocking threat to cover his back.

We will see, in paper it looks solid, but we have to test their chemistry first. Although Luka has history of making ordinary players looks good like when he was with the Mavericks, those passes to the big man. And now with more force and defense like Kessler, he could be the first one that will benefit more on the Luka alley-oop. So it's a complete LA roster now, And they are building behind Luka.

So it's going to be exciting NBA season ahead since there are teams that really make a lot of great trade and obviously Lebron bringing his talent to the Sixers together with Jaylen Brown.

The Lakers current lineup would not be in the second round for sure yes luka might be in this coming season will be healthy but they traded away asset and players that can just need a little tweak and could be a contender in the west, but they are not final bound, lakers dont have the asset to offer they even having a hard time with kuminga, so maybe another year and the lakers will have a decent lineup, but they wont be a contender for a long time, unless pelinka will be able to have lots of picks to rebuild this team.

I understand why some people think the Lakers might not reach the second round now that LeBron is gone. But Luka is still Luka. We already saw before that he can carry a team, so maybe people are underestimating him too much.

As long as the role players accept that he’s now the main guy and are willing to adjust to his style, I think the Lakers can still be competitive. Maybe we should wait and see first before judging them. Some people are still too focused on LeBron and forgetting how good Luka really is.

Also, those young players of the Spurs are the ones who made it to the Finals. We are not even sure how good they will be in the years to come, so it will be a risk if the Spurs trade these young players who may become superstars.
The other factor is the chemistry. I think this is very important, especially for the young Wemby. He became the team leader despite being young, and his teammates are actually looking up to him. (literally and not Grin ) Chemistry can build champions. I mean, look at Brunson with Hart and then OG and KAT. Brunson needed 4 years to build great chemistry with their team, and now they are champions.

Fox should probably be the main player included in a trade for Curry, together with some bench players.

If the Spurs keep the same lineup, yes, they might reach the Finals again, but I don’t think they’ll win the championship. We’ve already seen them panic in the fourth quarter. Many times they were leading most of the game, only to collapse near the end.

They need someone who can keep the team composed in those moments, and Curry could be the answer. If I were part of the Spurs management, I’d seriously pursue him and just hope he stays healthy. For me, that’s already a gamble worth taking.

If the Spurs are really going to make a trade, they don’t need to rush it right now. The asking price could still be too high, and they might end up giving away too many important players or future assets. It’s better to wait for the right deal instead of forcing a trade just because Curry is available.

If they can get him without destroying their current lineup, then it’s worth considering.

yeah. what I mean Lebron is 42 and has enough money and passive income to last for generations. reason he still chooses to wake up at 5 AM to train and travel constantly is probably just his addiction to the game.

I wouldn’t call it addiction. I’d call it passion instead. Kobe Bryant was also like that. If you really love the sport and you also have the talent, you will keep finding ways to improve. Hopefully LeBron can stay healthy because at his age, injuries are harder to recover from. Now that he’s with the Sixers and playing alongside Embiid, this team can become a real championship contender.

Maybe that’s also one reason he chose the Sixers, to give himself another good chance to win a championship before retiring. I still think he can play for two or three more seasons because his numbers haven’t really dropped that much.

His impact is different now though. He can’t carry a team the same way he did before. He doesn’t attack as much anymore and focuses more on moving the ball. His three-point shooting can also be inconsistent. Maybe he just needs to adjust his decision-making and find other ways to help the team. Good luck to the Sixers.

maybe. but i cant underestimate his playoff performance last time. he played without a center and he averaged 25 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks on 49% shooting it was even a better percentage than Luka's.

Yeah, the asking price for a Curry trade is so high that it will need a 3rd team to execute the trade. However, all these Curry trade rumors will remain rumors. As per Brett Siegel, Steph Curry won't be traded by the Warriors, and he isn't prepared to ask for a trade. We may hear some teams pitching a deal (Boston Celtics currently), but the Warriors show no indication that they are ready to part with him.
Also, Curry remains committed to only playing for the team that drafted him.
So, to everyone here expecting a Curry trade, let's not put our hopes high because it is seriously a long shot.

Kyrie is expected to make his return to the NBA next month. He has been out for 19 months while recovering from a torn ACL injury. He’s no spring chicken anymore. I think people are going to be disappointed at the level of play they get from him after an ACL replacement surgery and nearly 2 years out of the game. Most people would never be able to recover from that.

That injury he got is so serious and to be out for that long for sure I'm not surprised if we could see some rust on Kyrie's performance.

But good to see him doing good on some events he attend.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-JbbHK7Nu4

He may not be the same as prime Kyrie but for sure he could still contribute on his team once he adjust his playing style. So people or his fans should not expect something huge from him next season. Knowing that he just newly recovered and trying to catch up those things he missed for many days not playing competitive basketball.
