Ben Simmons is reportedly working out with the Australian basketball team. Maybe all this excitement in Philadelphia has him wanting to try again at an NBA comeback.
I’m excited to see preseason start. Even if we only get a couple minutes of LeBron here and there, I can wait to see how that offense is going to run.

Good for Ben, he wanted to return to the NBA, but at least being active and playing on some other great league and showing that he still has it might help his case to be pick up by NBA teams. Just a couple of months and we might see a new season. Yes, everyone is excited with this one, as there are a lot of movements like Giannis and Lebron obviously joining the Sixers. Fans wanting to see how Lebron's chemistry with his new team. And as well as his new team mates are looking on playing along with him and how it feel to have one of the best. And the NBA has lost one of it's best coach: Don Nelson, 2nd winningest coach in NBA history dies at 86.

RIP to Don Nelson. He was a hall of fame coach and a name everyone know who was following the NBA in the early nineties. He was born in 1940, won 5 championships and was the second most winningest coach in NBA history. He definitely left his mark on the game and will be remembered.
In deed a legend was lost, even though I didn’t get to watch him as a player, because I wasn’t even born when he had his playing time, but atleast I was opportune to watch him as a coach at warriors and bucks. Those were great time and memories now, I’ll always remember him as NBA legend. RIP legend

I did not really follow basketball during Don Nelson's era, but I still know who he was. My era was more during Michael Jordan's time. Back then, watching NBA games was not as easy as it is today, but MJ was already extremely popular. That's one of the reasons why he became such a huge name and is still considered the GOAT by many.

RIP legend I remember him coaching the Dallas Mavericks and yeah, he did have a tenure with team when I check 1997-2005. So it's a sad day for the those organization that he coach and play and the whole NBA itself. And it looks like everything has settled down in the NBA, no news reports of trades and acquisition. But there are still like good players that doesn't have a team. But let's see plenty of time for teams to assessed whether they still want to add veterans on their roster or not.

I didn't know he was Australian national. Good for him about playing somewhere tough this summer. In recent years, he’s become something of a controversial figure, but the former number one pick in the NBA draft is always significant. People had high expectations of him. I wonder what he can do after the age of 30. I can’t believe we are actually wondering and getting excited about what the number one pick from the draft 23 years ago would go on to do.

Is he already cleared about his mental issue or problem, because it seems like he is not he's usual self, i thought he could be the one to match LeBron because of his powerful dunk, but something really change him from a fearsome player into a kitten. I feel sad when i saw him its like he just going to dunk the ball with ease but started throwing the ball outside not wanting to take a shot, its like there is something in front of him that stopping him from doing what he actually do before.

Because I haven't come across any piece of information that he has signed for 76ers. There are a few teams rumored with him recently though. And they say he has regained his athleticism. He has had serious injury problems in his career. This would make things harder for him to be in the starting five of a strong team like 76ers or so. But still it would be a good trade to increase roster depth.

Meanwhile he is actually the last player any legitimate 76ers fan would want back on the roster, because what's change since the last time wanted out from the organization ? he's only gotten worse over time, if you ask me... When he was on the Brooklyn Nets roster filled with rookies and G-league players, he could have so easily upped his game amongst the mediocrity he was surrounded with, instead he even got outplayed on the roster of a tanking team, I mean him well and sure does hope he'll be able to find is mojo again in the league, but far away from whatever 76ers are cooking for the next 2 season with Lebron, please All I last read about him was regarding to FIBA and the Australian national team players like Josh Giddey and Dyson Daniels have some players initiative camp, or something of sorts.

Ya, I posted something about him working out with the Australian team in hopes of an NBA comeback, but I think any general manager would have to be playing chicken with his job to sign Ben Simmons at this point in his career. He has the skills, but he doesn't have the heart or the mind for it. Maybe a team like the 76ers would give him a shot at the end of their bench for a time when he might be useful, but his contributing days as a starter in the NBA are over in my opinion.

I think the interest of teams came up when he says that he's willing to commit and will accept minimum veteran contract. This is the reason Sixers shows interest, but they are not still sure if they really want to give Simmons a contract. But also I don't think they need him since they already have Lebron and Maxey that can carry the ball and facilitate plays for their team. Also look at amount earned by Simmons for playing few games each season and worse he's performance decline so bad. Also its quiet funny reading the comment section of this page https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DRcrgSq42/ since people think that Simmons just want to come back to earn another paycheck and will not play again in his new team.

How about Z? Zion Williamson actually be worse compared to Simmons, especially considering he was the No. 1 overall pick. At least Ben Simmons made it to the Conference Finals. While Zion, on the other hand hasn’t really had playoff run yet most of his career, it’s been just the Play-In. What’s even crazier is how much Zion has earned considering how little he has actually played for New Orleans. With the amount the Pelicans have paid him, it honestly feels like huge waste of money.

The fact that he's still trying to play in the NBA and is willing to accept a minimum contract after earning so much money throughout his career is in my opinion very commendable. Many players who earn that kind of paycheck wouldn't try to play again for a low salary. Let's not forget that he's still only 30 years old. He still has something to contribute to the NBA even if it's limited. Lakers are reportedly interested in him, which would be a more sensible option for him than the Sixers if he wants to get more playing time. Of course if he's after a championship ring, Sixers have a better chance.

How about Monta Ellis statement recently, "They know the team that I was dealt with. If you switched me and Steph out with the team that won the championships, it'd be the same thing. So you've got to take the good with the bad, and that's cool. It put me in a position to make money for me and my family. I ran with that." https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/former-golden-state-warriors-star-150051372.htmlDo you think that he can won a championship ring with the Warriors if he has switch places with Steph? Personally, I disagree with him, yes he is a scorer, but he is built differently. He might not have a chemistry with Draymond for all we know and there could be conflict too in the locker room. Perhaps he was just bitter and resented that he was traded and the Warriors started their dynasty without him.

^ Monta Ellis is crazy. He was good, but not Steph Curry good obviously. One of them was a unanimous MVP and one was probably never even first team all NBA… Sure, the Durant squad didn’t need much, but Curry was never replaceable.
The schedule drops on Thursday. Looking forward to seeing what is happening opening day.

I do agree, we can't compare Steph with him, although Monta was really good with the Warriors that time, he was not at the same level when it comes to basketball IQ. Steph's IQ is underrated as we have seen him grown when Monta was traded with Bogut if my memory serves me right. And it could be that he was just jealous on what the Warriors did accomplished after he was traded. And his career never flourish when he left the Warrior. Let's see how the schedule will be this coming Thursday. We might be looking at: Giannis playing at Fiserv Forum Brown at Boston Garden Lebron at Crypto.com Gonna be huge and electrifying and let's see if there will be boos from fans of their former team.

I know he just sound cocky with his statement but if you will put prime Monta Ellis during 2017 Warriors roster I believe there’s some facts on his statement since Warriors that time is on their peak roster especially Thompson and KD can easily carry the team at some point without much expectation on Curry. However, I doubt he can give that many championships count on Warriors if he will replace Curry on all the years which Warriors becomes champion. Curry has a huge advantage against him in terms of 3 point shot accuracy and the fact that Curry do a lot of crucial 3 on the game.Ellis is hallucinating if he think he is on par with Curry.

He was a street basketball player who perfectly represented street culture, with excellent fundamentals and court vision. However, when it comes to winning championships or becoming MVP in the NBA, you have to think a little differently. Perhaps he could have had a much better career if he hadn't had injury problems in his early seasons. But he had a career that can't be compared to players like Curry; he never reached that level, and although he had the potential, he never achieved those successes
