I don’t think he signs an extension. Maybe he will because of loyalty, but the temptation to sign with a contender and get all new partnerships at this stage in his career will be tough to turn down. If he wants another ring and a billion dollar sponsorship deal, he isn’t going to find either staying in Golden State.

He is on the Warriors since he was drafted. I bet the question for loyalty should be out of the picture unless the Warriors itself is the one that doesn’t want Curry anymore on the team.

There’s less motivation for Curry to go on other team either to chase championships or money since he already have this.

AFAIK, This house sale happened last May before trading rumor on social media sparked the same way on his marriage problem issue which is proven wrong.

With the current salary cap, I think it's almost impossible for the Spurs to sign Curry considering he would still demand a big salary. Unless Curry is willing to take a huge discount, which I think is unlikely, then maybe it could happen.

The Spurs are already committed to players with big salaries like Wemby, Fox and Vassell, I think those are among their highest-paid players. So maybe a trade is possible, but getting Curry through free agency would be much harder.

I don't think that it will come to a point where they don't like him anymore. If you will ask me, that's very disrespectful towards the player after what he's done for the team and for the whole management as well. The Warriors are willing to welcome him that's for sure, so it's on Curry now on whether he'll stay and become loyal for the rest of his career, or will compete and chase for a 5th ring still.

Speaking of 5th ring, yes he has both the money and the titles already, but we know that there are some players who are still hungry to get a title despite having it already, and Curry MIGHT be one of them. Who knows? I don't think we should hope for Steph to stay on the Warriors.  Sure, back in the day that sort of loyalty was something people wanted to see, but not anymore.  Everything is legacy now and Steph needs to play on a team that will win games.  Look at Kawhi, he cares a lot about his winning % to the point he barely plays anymore...  Steph could want to win another ring and pad his stats for his legacy, but both of those things would be easier to do on a team with more talent than the Warriors are able to provide right now.

I didn't expect that. I thought he was the guy who wants minutes and wants to be in the spotlight. Like a superstar who will be the face of the team. He has a chance in Atlanta, but he may be changing his point of view after signing that contract. Or maybe he just wants out of the Warriors for different reasons. He just used the "he wants more minutes" card.

This will really be a strong addition for the Wolves, as they need more speed to keep up with Edwards. With Ball there, we might see a lot of highlight dunks from this team. I cannot wait to see them play.

Not sure if it's low but he's got potential, but he averaged 12+ppg and became less efficient in Atl compared to when he was still with the GSW.
 Kuminga tends to become inconsistent when he's around with another superstar, because I think he needs high usage rate and yeah playing time (same reason why he averaged low ppg).
Not sure how he's gonna fit with the Wolves when Edwards and LaMelo will have ball most of the time.

And that's why his agent is looking for more money and gambling on the talent of Jonathan Kuminga. At least though for now it might be a good entry offer, it's like a mid-level for his caliber. So everything is up to him, if the Wolves has promised him more minutes or even a starting five lineup, then he should take advantage of it and show how's it worth and play like he was still in the Warriors wherein he was really fun to watch because of his athleticism.

Don't be bothered by the initial offer, at least you still have a team to play and show your talent. As compare to some players that wasn't sign up that still has the great potential to be inside the NBA.

I think kuminga is a role player, he's stay in the bay area is not quite good, he have no choice i think but to accept this offer, he is like a minimum veteran salary now, if he already accepted early offers for him it might been quite good but well he want's bigger offer, he might end up like Dennis, but dennis is a better player than kuminga in my opinion, in atlanta there are lots of players like him, and that is easy for the management to decide since they know how kuminga thnks.

2 years for $13 million, isn’t that quite low compared to what he could potentially make? I’m surprised Kuminga ended up accepting that kind of deal because I thought with his talent he could make more. I’m also curious why Atlanta didn’t keep him because I think he was doing pretty well there.

Kuminga averages just 12.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. Although he is still early in his career and has likely not yet reached his prime, his current stats make this contract quite reasonable. In cases like this, players are better off not being greedy; otherwise, they might end up with a minimum contract, or none at all.
