Cryptopia is not a solid exchange. I still don't understand why people choose this fishy exchanges for trading. There is bittrex, poloniex etc. Why even consider other exchanges? Like really?

There you go folks, no one from CRYPTOPIA was scamming anyone as you have been lead to believe in this [ANN] Thread. An apology to the guys at CRYPTOPIA is most definitely in order, but I doubt those who started this vendetta will sprout any balls and do that. Big thanks to the guys at UNO community and to Hex and sa_ddam213. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!
This thread is a mess. It's original purpose was resolved long ago and Cryptopia was clearly not to blame. This thread should be locked by a moderator. It is done, over, kaput. I haven't seen ANY credible evidence here of any wrongdoing by Cryptopia, yet the solid facts are constantly buried by the relentless slurs from professional trolls. Yes, Hexx is an ass, but being an ass isn't illegal yet, and he runs a good exchange. His name is on the public paperwork. He's not hiding. You may not like Hexx, and hell he probably doesn't even like himself, but these guys at Cryptopia are doing everything right. Give 'em a break. If you lost money at Cryptopia its your own damn fault. You're a shitty trader.

Nothing has been resolved, as the accounts are still locked. hex does not deny this... everyone is scamtopia troll box knows as well, just ask...
I have no problem with hex... I do however have a problem with hex robbing ppl left and right.

What FallingKnife said. "This thread is a mess. It's original purpose was resolved long ago and Cryptopia was clearly not to blame." Entertaining that read was So this is the general purpose complaint thread now? Yes hex has acted in immature flippant manners, but in all cases I've witnessed he was tossing the trash out of his establishment. Cleaning house and Scamming are different acts. I would be more at ease if Hex & Company would grant a few rights to a larger board of trustees to handle disputes and collateral materials.

I believe a 'Board' would take that load off of Hex and sa_ddam's shoulders and leave them more time to accomplish what is needed technologically at Cryptopia. Maybe something along the lines of some select shareholders being tasked to deal with the riffraff. Just some thoughts on the matter. It is a moot point of view though. No harm, no foul.

The issue in question now is of them locking users accounts and taking their money. To this day they have refused to unlock them and let them get their money. Regardless of the other stuff in this thread this is still outstanding and illegal for them to do regardless of what or why they say they did it. They haven't even bothered denying that they have done this and have made quite a few jabs at the person it happened to about doing it. They need to return the funds they have stolen before any opinions can even begin to be corrected.

I don't think they are able to, the new servers got bought after the spam account lock fest, and the volume on the site or the shares has not budged, and none of them have a job... sorry hex... I am keeping an eye on you guys, this will only get prettier, not like I didn't know you from before mang... what think I just met ya on scamtopia for the first time lol?

Board or not I want my sons and mine accounts accessible. Locking people out of accounts and not issuing them their funds with lies and stories as reasoning is unprofessional and just plain rude. Unlock my accounts what you have done is theft.
Also Hex, Why did you delist the HMTL5Coin markets when it was more active then most of your other markets?

Hex has no shame, he will steal from kids, lol, and come up with an excuse. I think he added the 18+ thing to the site just to add to the locked account list he can clean out, as hexs actions dictate he is under 18 himself lol.

You can act stupid all you want, the law is the law and your terms won't protect you from it as laws supersede any bullshit you think you can hide behind. I'm not going to sit here and play games with you, but I'd be really interested in seeing your explanation as to why you didn't report your disciplinary actions taken against them to the Financial Markets Authority like you should have done for each account you froze. Not doing so is a violation of your license and I'd be really interested in finding out the penalty for that. Could it be because they would investigate your reasoning behind locking and taking their assets and would find you at fault forcing you to not only unlock their accounts but to return their money with damages? Oh, I would highly suggest you take a look at New Zealand's laws regarding The Fair Trading Act of 1986 while you are at it. Some interesting stuff is located in those files. It's pretty shitty when an American knows more about your laws than you do.

Then you'd know that cryptocurrency is considered property in New Zealand, right? Nothing to do with the FMA? Right? And what, Jag didn't tell you the part where we already reported our actions to thew New Zealand Cyber Crime division? You know, on account of him and his buddies threatening to hack us and DDoS us and all the other bullshit threats they made against us? Y'know, the reason accounts were locked in the first place? He didn't mention any of that? Weird.
Or the part where for months before his account was locked he was telling people we were thieves and not to use our site and that the company was going to fail and go under, and all the other bullshit he's made up and yet the whole time he continued to use the site and have coins sitting on the site. Isn't it weird that he'd do that? You know, considering he thought we were thieves and all, isn't it weird that he kept using the site and didn't withdraw his coins? That's weird right? Isn't that weird? Weird that his account was left alone for months while he was spewing all that bullshit... Y'know, until him and his buddies started making threats. Did he not mention the part where sa_ddam213's wife and kids were threatened? Did he not mention that part? So weird.
And isn't it weird how even before all that, they came to us, and asked us to remove a bunch of GIFs from the chat, and to ban swearing, and to add a section to the forum specifically so a bunch of school kids could use the site to learn about cryptocurrency, and we told them no it's an R18 site, and we didn't want kids on it? And then they apparently just did it any way? Isn't that just so weird?
Isn't it weird how we've supposedly broken all these laws, and stolen all this "money" and we haven't heard anything from the police? So fucking weird right? Just really weird.
We've both personally put more money into this site that than there is a dollar value on the coins currently on the site, wouldn't it be weird for us to throw not just that away, but two years of our lives for that piddly little amount? Wouldn't that be weird? Especially considering how many faster and easier ways there would be to scam people. Wouldn't it be weird to go about scamming people by putting in thousands of hours and dollars into building a better platform than what's available anywhere else? Wouldn't that be so weird?
And wouldn't it be weird to lock accounts specifically for the purpose of stealing coins? Like don't we have direct control of all the wallets? Wouldn't locking accounts serve only to draw attention to the alleged theft taking place? Wouldn't locking accounts be a fucking weird thing to do?
So weird.
