Bitcoin haters hate the fact the creator is an anonymous figure whose personal life and political views are pretty much unknown. It does us a big favor. If he was a famous person, Bitcoin would get attacked through the personality and personal views of the creator, because haters are idiots that will use whatever weapons they can to discredit Bitcoin.

This the fact he is unknown gives the dirty cleck media no one to attack.

Yep, the media even had to invent that he was some poor guy named Dorian Nakamoto to have some sort of target. I wonder what they will come up next in order to be able to have an human figure behind the creation of Bitcoin so they can start dropping ad hominem and implying whatever the creator said was relevant to the fact the protocol and math is robust as an oak tree.

Either it's me who can't find it through the forum's search function or it's not there any more.

I remember having seen it here before though and read some of the posts he was making in the beginning of this forum. Wanted to go back and read some of them for nostalgia but it's nowhere.

On a related note:

What would you say to him/her/them if the account in question started being active on these forums again or made an AMA?Smiley

if you are interested in his holy posts:

Nah, Satoshi must stay anonymous... If it turns out to be someone with a very bad history, it would mean the end of Bitcoin. The media will have a field day, and the shills for the

Bitcoin competitors will turn over every rock to get something bad to say about him/her/them. Something that might stir some interest could be if some of that 1 000 000 coins

could be donated to charity. The last act of kindness from the creator of Bitcoin, would make a huge difference.  Roll Eyes

Holding such ammount of coins ,and has a huge power to impact at bitcoin at the moment give some identy will ruin the main idea of the coin created to be anonymous,i guess he sometimes comes here and read some information ,always take a eye on the price of the bitcoin and well he has an exentric life that his or her work allowed him to take advantage being with such ammount of coins and having sold some enought to he and family doesnt need to work.

I would prefer to see satoshi account active in btctalk even if he remains anonymous but i chose the fourth option since his return will not have a big effect tho since the bitcoin volume is already huge..

It will be VERY difficult for satoshi to remain anonymous if he would start using this forum again. One tiny mistake anywhere and whe would be exposed within hours.

People are lurking for clues way too much for him to risk any exposure like this.

well he did kinda abandon it imo, its extremely shady what happened. like you don't just leave a project completely after it has flourished especially after you founded it. my theory is that he was blackmailed and murdered explaining why he hasnt even  anonymously said anything in the past 5 years.

I believe it is in everyone's, even bitcoin itself's benefit that Satoshi remain anonymous. It is weird for a concept that promotes decentralization and freedom to have one 'god' figure of some sort.

On the other hand, if he's a person, and not an organization, maybe he got a terminal illness or something thats why he couldnt continue.

Satoshi made bitcoin decentralized so that after it's creation his own presence is not that important, or his voice to some extent. It is the community that
is here to take votes on how the network will advance. I think it's best for satoshi to remain unknown, far from the spotlights, even for his own security, as well as ours.

I gave his posting history a quick view but got even more confused after a while.

He is the founder and administrator of Black Market Reloaded, one of Silk Road's biggest competitors. He is one of the few big players of the dark web in times of SR and SR2 who wasn't caught.

It will be big news event in the bitcoin world. I mean it will make headlines. The confidence level in bitcoin will be restored and finally people would have faith in the coin. Also everyone would probably rushing over to seek his advice on how to solve all the current mess we are facing.

I think my first question would be, Why did you abandon your experiment? The second question would be, Can or will you ever spend your hoarded coins? That would answer some important questions for many people in this community. If I am allowed a third question, it would be < How do we stop the banks from stealing your technology? >

Don't get your third question. Open source can be copied but not stolen.

What I would do if I was him is to wait that 1 bitcoin reaches $50,000 - $100,000 and then I would announce that I would start moving and selling coins bit by bit. 95% of the coins I would sell and give to the humanitarian organizations and 5% or even less I would keep as a reward for changing this shitty world into a better place.

This would make Satoshi definitely a biggest man that ever walked the planet, if everything would go as I envisioned of course! Smiley

I don't think it would be wise to spend many coins to humanitarian organizations since they would instantly exchange them to fiat and push the price down.

I think satoshi still holds his coins and he is silently waiting for his time, taking over the world as the new world president. Cheesy

What a wonderful crypto world he would create. No poverty, basic income for everyone and much more. Cheesy:D:D:D

Don't take me serious. But i think that he will become more and more a powerful man. And it is wise to stay hidden until then. Like a fairytail.

Let's hope his character is without fail then.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.
