Just noticed this guy's post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=141466;sa=showPosts , does being on DT and being a hero member mean you can post the same thing multiple times even without rephrasing it?
Having said that I notice there are lots of spammy looking image only posts like this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg12802353;topicseen#msg12802353 on the Wall observer thread, is it acceptable by all mods?
Edit: P.S: He also seems to be misinformed about the trust system, seems he gives trust feedback along with adding people who he has traded with to his trust list, even newbies I notice.
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Some more spam: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg12802501#msg12802501 . Although I generally don't make a thread for every problem that I have, I think it needs to be decided whether Image-only posts are accepted as constructive or not and should be marked by staff for every report accordingly.

That thread is self-moderated and OP saw that post. If he didn't delete it then there is no problem for him. You shouldn't report posts in self-moderated threads (except obvious spam).

Apparently correct even though it is not a general rule (case by case basis).

does being on DT and being a hero member mean you can post the same thing multiple times even without rephrasing it?
DT is not moderated. Being on DT and having a certain rank does not give you any privileges (regarding forum rules). If you feel like someone is doing something wrong you can report one of his low value posts and elaborate in the comment or contact one of the global moderators directly (or a moderator of that specific section).

Update: Corrected statement.

I don't think even him, being on DT is allowed to do that... Then again, it was a self modded thread.

That person's trust list is very bad. He is in my trust network via escrow.ms and I often see people's trust ratings by default that I am fairly certain are not reliable including multiple scammers and upon investigation I found that they are on his trust list.

However yes I agree that his posts are generally recitative and of low quality.

Abotu Wall observer thread, even though I have "reported" the posts in this thread, no action has been taken. Shouldn't the moderators delete spam themselves , when they are pointed at it, or should I report them as well?

I just wonder, why you still not excluded him, from your trust list (as me)? Grin

That person's trust list is very bad. He is in my trust network via escrow.ms...

As he is for everyone using unedited DF trust. For what?
For a $6 trade, 18 months ago...... Roll Eyes

I need just $6 Webmoney to purchase a hosting. We could exchange feedback....

And escrow.ms duely obliged, result: DT status for the price of a coffee.
That rather blows out of the water the idea that "trading" feedback is the only "real" feedback.

I have excluded a few of the scammers on his trust list. I don't have an issue so much with the ratings he sends.

It might be a good idea to be able to exclude and/or include only someone's trust list or the same for someone's trust ratings on your trust list.

Escrow.ms is on my trust list therefore anyone on his trust list has their trust lists in my trust network. Most people only see his trust ratings not those on his trust list.

That is definitely not right, especially for such a small transaction. I'll message escrow.ms later today to ask him to remove him from his trust list as this is the kind of behavior that attracts trust farmers.

edit2: PM sent to escrow.ms

edit3: Received (quick) response from escrow.ms -- he is removed from DT

That was fast Quickseller, thanks, he was unworthy of the DT.
Well the main issue here was the spam from legendary and hero members on the Wall Observer thread, but nonetheless closing this thread.
P.S: If you have anything important to add to the conversation , PM me.
