Lol at bitcoin CEO. Bitcoin isn't a company.

It's obvious that this cat-lover Karpeles also likes to taste some p*ssy for the funds that according to him, were hacked. I am not surprised at all, that's what almost all men with lots of money are doing.

I'm sure his wealthy wife will be thrilled to hear about this, and he might have trouble getting her to share the stash of BTC he probably gave to her.

Was he married? Never heard of him having a wife...

Is it an allegation or just a fact? Is prostitution illegal in Japan?

I don't know what prostitution's legal status is in Japan, but he's been charged with spending customer's money on hookers. He hasn't had a fair trial yet so it's only an allegation until a court finds him guilty of it. I'm more interested in what he did with all the "stolen" Bitcoins, or if they really were stolen.

edit]

Japan has unusual prostitution laws. Paying for coitus is illegal, but paying for oral sex, anal sex, mammary intercourse and other non-coital sex acts are legal.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prostitution_in_Japan#Legal_status

Quote
The definition of prostitution is strictly limited to coitus.[18] This means sale of numerous acts such as oral sex, anal sex, mammary intercourse and other non-coital sex acts are legal. The Businesses Affecting Public Morals Regulation Law of 1948 (風俗営業取締法 Fūzoku Eigyō Torishimari Hō?),[19] amended in 1985 and 1999, regulates these businesses.

As I've read on previous threads, they can keep him arrested without being judged, simply by being charged with something, but only for X days... Could this be only because those X days were over and they want to keep him arrested?

Either way, he's getting what he deserves for "misplacing" customers funds Roll Eyes

Quote
is alleged to have transferred 20 million yen of customer funds to his own bank accounts

Weren't all the funds on his personal account, anyways? Roll Eyes

Quote
Karpeles, a native of France, denies the charges, telling police that the funds were not used for private purposes

Of course not Cheesy

People are people. They don't know what is the right thing to do sometimes. I blame the way they were brought up or their parents for not disciplining enough as a spoiled child.

Bitcoin CEO indeed...
The media seems to be intent on sensationalizing any news related to Bitcoin.

It's not the media, on the site it says mt. gox ceo. It's just OP who's braindead.

This is why Satoshi needs to come forward to be honest. We need another face to represent bitcoin instead of that french fuck.

What if magic tux IS satoshi O_O

I think it might just be best if satoshi stays gone. If the people who hate bitcoin can tie anything to satoshi they will use it to harm bitcoin.

I'm willing to bet that the majority of customer funds will be revealed to have been spent on developing a Gundam sex robot. It'll be discovered in a warehouse and will immediately start dry humping the nearest person it can grab.

I think the majority of the population that doesn't know much of bitcoin puts it in the same category as the bad stuff they hear about it in the news. Mt.gox comes to mind right away as the worst.

Titles like this make me sick too. They think it would sound better but they never think how ridiculous is it really.
