Seems MtGox is again slow on processing SEPA withdrawals. I requested a withdrawal on 26/10 and it's still showing as "confirmed" at the time of my posting. Should mention that my account is verified since quite sometimes ago and my previous withdraw requests to the same bank account were usually processed within 1-3 business days.
Would like to know if anyone else is experiencing same SEPA withdrawal delay.

Took more than 2 weeks for SEPA withdraw for me.

Confirmed means it is confirmed by Mt.Goatse but not sent for bank to process.

Processed means the money is sent to your account by bank. 1 to 3 business days and it is Yours!

I know what their status means. Well, not exactly sure about this "confirmed" status, it sounds like the money is already on their way so I find it a bit confusing, especially for a first time user. A "processing" or even "pending" would've been more appropiate for that status, but yes, I was aware of the fact that the money are on their way to your bank account once the status is "processed". Pretty sure this was the last time I used their "intl. wire" method. I've been selling my BTC for EUR, that's why I went for this option. And this is surely the longest delay so far out of about 10 withdrawals.
Seems aurumxchange only accepts USD vouchers, but they will convert to EUR and send out SEPA (for a small commission). Anyone could confirm aurumxchange to be faster on SEPA payouts?
Another option would be bitinstant for MtGox usd to paypal, but the 6.9% fee is not that "small".

Here's me going back and forth, for giggles:

withdraw   Status: confirmed   x,xxx.00000
Withdraw to account XXXXXXX
This has had ELEVEN BUSINESS DAYS as of today to clear.
I suspect that you are short on money.
It is totally, UTTERLY unfeasible for a SEPA transaction to take more than ONE or TWO business days.

Withdraw to account XXXXXXXX

What the HELL is wrong with your money management?
Sorry to get upset, but can someone with a little banking expertise look into this?
Maybe you can hire someone to do it, too?

I have a total of xxxxx€ outstanding with you.
If you cannot remedy this situation, I will refrain from trading on mtgox in the future.
Quote from: Le Support
Thank you for your email. Due to banking withdrawal limits on our Polish account, there had been a delay in processing withdrawals, We were able to locate the transaction in question. It appears that our bank is still in the middle of processing the funds,we will keep you updated once the transactions is processed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Quote from: Le Moi, again
Yessir, I do have a question, sorry that you are the one having to read them, maybe you can pass them along to some management-level personell:

As a financial service provider such as yourself, how can there be "banking limits"?
Banking Limits that result in a backlog of almost three weeks?
Are they not taking you seriously at said "bank"?
Are you not equipped to handle some semi-serious business?
Quote from: El Supporto
We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We have a withdrawal limit at our bank and this led us to have a huge back log and our top management is aware and they are putting in their best efforts to resolve this issue. However I will keep you updated once your withdrawal is processed.
Quote from: Das Ich
Having acknowledged this backlog,
I wish henceforth to be informed (as most customers would like to be, I wager) PROACTIVELY.
If, say, a backlog of > x days exists, why not notify all customers with pending withdrawals?
Quote from: Das Helpdesken
We have not decided to that as we are looking to resolve this issue soon. If we are not able to resolve this our management will decide on that.

so here's to... nothing, really.

Really, if you want to do SEPA, do it with Bitcoin-Central.net. Much, much faster

yes it does.
meh.

better volume than intersango.
i do doubt, however, that it could withstand the pressure of 2000BTC over 24h as mtgox does.

I recommend BitStamp, their SEPA withdrawals have always been fast for me. Smiley
