Gambling is another form of entertainment as well just like going to a movie or watching a concert.  When used for entertainment value, I feel you always win.

Wtihout gambling, the world as we know it would become less exciting.  Gambling for me is something recreational and as long as it doesn’t do me or anybody else any harm, I wouldn’t think of it as a negative thing. Agree with you BUT I have a good friend who is a professional gambler who really into it and gambles like it is his business. He have a book-like of strategies and keep on playing calculated bets. It is really hardwork. He even taught me but I didn't survive

I guess that your friend really take gambling as a business, as a way to earn big amount of money.
