Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Hi! How many coins are there going to be?

There are now 1,968,506 BITZ and it's hard to say how many there will be as this depends on how many BITZ are staking, check the explorer:

Thanks, I checked the explorer, but are you saying that are going to be an infinite nr of coins? Do you have a coin rollout plan?

Best wishes and good luck,
Bogdan

Yes, in effect, but the increase is relatively small and you have take into account inflation. The staking reward could be reduced as time moves along depending on the circumstances. If 100% of BITZ were staking there would be an increase of just under 200,000 in this coming year and so on, but at the moment only about 15-20% of BITZ are staking.

old coin?

Yeah so looks https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=954125.0 old thread BITZ   coin
                   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1234560   BITZx    asset

But they are announcing BitZx an official asset for Bitz Currrency, Are shares that will pay dividends in Nxt.

P.S: Personally I'm not a follower of this coin.

Just to let everyone know that we still support and work on BITZ w/ ZERO support from the community. The block explorer will expire soon:

So, all the people who would like BITZ to go on can go to https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bitz/ and click on 'Hosting for this Blockchain will expire soon' and help to keep this running.

We have a new Number 1: BMQVRpa36HWFqE8hBctoAwn24rTfLqfqzU at 241,944.89 BITZ so wow and who is this? This person is NOT staking and NOT supporting BITZ but is looking to dump at some point I guess.

The block explorer will expire shortly and not a single donation has been received to keep it going. I guess that makes sense as only 5% of BITZ are staking:

That's pretty poor and shows that nobody cares and leaves me free to make any kind of decision I see fit for the future of BITZ. Whoever is no.1 on the rich list should care? No...

Link to spreadsheet with BITZ running costs: LINK
I have decided to document the running costs of BITZ and it's associated features. This is part of a drive towards total transparency with regards to costs and donations.

I will update the spreadsheet with previous costs for this project.

I think that might be Bittrex but not sure. Bittrex has around that amount but it's hard to know the exact amounts.
