How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin?

It is a big deal and all, but you don't have to kill yourself just because you lost some bitcoin. That's a bit over the top.

The number is just so hard to realize for me, so maybe I can think of 10 or 100 BTC...hehe. It would definitely suck for many months but I don't think I would get too depressed unless that was all I had, as in savings. I have much less than 1 BTC right now and to me that's a treasure even if it's nothing in real life but if I lose it I would feel the same way as losing a huge amount of money really. Life won't change unless it's your whole savings or bankroll.

Same here. Such thing is impossible for me, and won’t happen, I won’t be a full to invest such big amount online. But, assuming it happens, first of all I will faint, when I wake up I will if it’s a dream or real life, and I will feel nervous for some days.

Please don't even think about it that your life will be useless, and you will do suicide. first of all if you get this much 10,000 Bitcoins with you.your mind will become sharp and if you are smart enough then you should secure your full Bitcoins money and invest half amounts only. Life is very much valuable and each and every person is valuable in front of their parents. And its impossible thing that is much amount of Bitcoins will come to my life. And I will not react too much. I will try to normal and iam sure I will get again huge amounts of Bitcoins.

If i hold such ammount i would be retired already for sure,why to have such ammount on the current days since now can sell them and have milions dollars,for me is more then enougth to survive .If i loose these the question would be if i had invest all life savings into it or just a part of an income or fortune,in any way i would be pissed to loose such ammount.

I have already lost 2 Bitcoin to hacked paypal and ebay accounts, and i was pretty gutted but accepted it.  i think if i owned that amount of bitcoin and lost it i would have to be pretty stupied and would blame myself ......

Sure some people hold such ammount but wouldnt be better to sell part of them and have a good life with the money from bitcoin,sure people holding to sell it at a better price.

Wow oh god, that thread, I remember reading about it back in the day (not in 2011 because I wasn't there, but when I started a couple of years ago) and I was devastated. I didn't even have 1 BTC back then so 25K was just insane, considering it was about 700 dollars per coin when I did read that.

If i lost 10.000 bitcoin when or because gambling,i swear i never play gambling again but if i loat that bitcoin because somebody stole it,i will make report to police,and if that not make my bitciin comeback to me,i will stop using or adopt bitcoin. Its painfull when you lost something precisious.

Loosing 10,000 BTC would destroy me.  I am assuming that if I have 10,000 in BTC, I am hoping that i would have more than that in other currency, to stop the bleeding, but I think I would be lost.  Even if I was loaded, 10-,000 BTC at today's rate is over 4.5 Million USD.  I do not know anyone who would not cry about this.

I think anyone that loses that much money is going to be depressed for a couple of days at least.  Luckily (in not sure if that's the right word)  I will never be in that position.

I guess it would depend on the amount of wealth that I have in relation to that 10'000 bitcoin.  Billionaires make bad business deals, ventures go south, investments go bad and they lose this kind of money. But I think the intent is if thats all we had so...



IF that was everything I had and im flat broke then I would be depressed about it give up hope and become a bum.  I would then be hanging out with bum friends eating out of a can of beans with a wooden spoon over a trash can fire telling my tales of how I made it the top but then ended up here.  One day I would get fed up with that life find a clean creek to wash my clothes get a job at the city landfill and collect cans on the side.  I would then recycle and put my money back into bitcoin and buy mining power when I can and begin building my wealth again.

Not that badly unless it was something stupid I did to lose it if I lost it from theft I'd be upset but I'd probably work towards getting it back it's not that much though 10,000 worth of Bitcoin isn't that big of a deal to me. Money comes and goes both digital , virtual and physical.

i never know what I would do if I lose 10000 Bitcoin, it is very difficult to imagine the impossible, has 10,000 bitcoin just barely possible, let alone lose that amount

I would not understand why someone would hold that much bitcoin in 1 wallet. If I had 10,000 btc I would probably hold it in 100 wallets cold stored.

Smart thing to do or probably just about 100 btc per wallet. Just so no one can compromise it all if someone just gained access to it. People are usually tempted when it comes to huge amount of money and Mexico is an easy route
