I would not understand why someone would hold that much bitcoin in 1 wallet. If I had 10,000 btc I would probably hold it in 100 wallets cold stored.
Smart thing to do or probably just about 100 btc per wallet. Just so no one can compromise it all if someone just gained access to it. People are usually tempted when it comes to huge amount of money and Mexico is an easy route Id be feeling pretty crazy if i kept as much as 1 bitcoin in a wallet. 100 seems way too much for me to risk.

Yes I too prefer to have 1000 wallets to store those 10k bitcoins. In fact that must be a big amount to have. I don’t have such amount, if in case I have such amount, and I lose it, I will feel depressed all day, and cry my self to sleep, I won’t bother eating, and I won’t even talk to anyone.

To be honest the figure is way too high... I would probably lose my mind, knowing that there's no way I can make 10,000 ever again, and know that I could have been a potential billionaire in a decade if I held those 10k's.

That is the right attitude. But will Cryptsy do the same thing to hunt down the person responsible for the 13,000 bitcon hack?

I doubt it's going to happen to me since I only gamble what I can afford to lose. However if I did happen to lose 10,000 BTC which is a lot to me, I would just move on and say to myself "Well that was stupid".

Losing that amount would be horrible, but most people who would have that amount would be extremely safe with the private keys and be overly secure.

10,000 bitcoin is 3.7 million dollars, which means I will never have that much money in the first place to lose it. but if by any miracle I had that much and I lost it, I would become bankrupt, depressed, homeless. there is no living life again!

Just imagining the figures, both for profit and loss give me the creeps. Looking at the numbers in a wallet, one mistake and they are gone! To be honest Bitcoin sometimes is a little frightening, if you make an honest mistake or you are drunk you can lose millions. That could never happen with a bank or with a credit card.

I don't think I would be gambling it or keeping it an online wallet etc... in the first place. I don't want to imagine that though

If your bitcoin is saved in a convention bank, and you lose it, the bank is liable to pay you back.
