Hi,

I want to try to mine some FTC. Can i use just every miner? I was thinking for an Antminer U3 if thats possible.
Or is there a better miner for $100?

Kind regards,
Finksy

i assume you are refering to feather coin, they use an algorithm called neo scrypt which branchs from scrypt and can only be mined with your gpu, the algorithm is designed to prevent ASICs like antminer from mining it

Of course.  Ftc is neo-scrypt and gpu mineable.  I leave my main computer on 24/7 and let it at least bring in a few coins.  Why not?

As has already been stated, feathercoin is neoscrypt which is GPU mineable. The last I looked it was one of the few gpu coins that was actually profitable. I'm not sure what it is like today.

it is profitable only for people with very low power rates.
