If you are good at them, stocks and shares can earn you a lot of money. If you are not too good with using shares and stocks, just use Bitcoin. Buy bitcoin at low prices and sell it at high prices. You will make a decent profit.

Stocks? Bonds? Bitcoins?? Real Estate?
The best investment is the one that offers the greatest return for the least amount of risk. Since none of us can predict which investment will give us the greatest return in the future (for the least amount of risk) it's wise to spread our investments around to multiple asset classes. I'd recommend investing a bit in stocks, bitcoin, and real estate (in the form of real estate investment trusts if you can't buy property). Bonds are trickier. We're at a unique time where interest rates are at their lowest point. This means if you buy a bond today, it will not be worth as much as other bonds will at some point in the future when rates rise a bit. I'd stay away from bonds all together right now UNLESS you're buying the bond and holding it until maturity (definitely don't touch bond mutual funds!)

The best investment is best company shares, such as Google and Apple in the early days. But it is difficult to pinpoint the best companies.

How about bitcoin ? It is in it's early days, and the extent of success are limitless. imho every investor should hold atleast part of his/hers funds in it. It's not that hard to see that with years bitcoin is only going to rise in both power and price.

I couldn’t agree more, compared to more conventional investments such as stocks or bonds, the market for bitcoins is still in its infancy.

There s no single best investment. The key is to differentiate.
30% savings, 30% real estate, 30% low risk securities and 10% BTC.

Honest answer? Tiny apartments near massive, stable job creation locations bought during a recession. At larger scales, industrial real estate. And in my personal opinion, Bitcoin (very long-term). The rest is tricky and I personally try to stay away from other investments.
I am with you on this one, real estate is a great way to invest your money.

I am with you on this one, real estate is a great way to invest your money. The good thing about real estate is that you get rent paid every month and you still have your money, but are not able to spend more than a fraction at a time. This also limits spending sprees and encourages you to be frugal. And after 8 - 12 years its 100% profit, while you could still sell the property. Just don't buy at the peak of a bubble.... If the apartment is small AND fancy in a popular location, you can rent it out on a weekly basis to tourists for much higher amounts. I think in Hungary there are currently lots of options to buy small apartments for dirt cheap ($30,000) at the moment. A real estate mogul friend of mine told me it would be a good idea to invest in that, but I haven't researched or looked into it. Please don't take my word for it, and do your own research. These are just ideas. He basically said it as a fleeting comment so I don't even know whether he looked into it that much or not. Someone else told me Hungary is too expensive for real estate... but that person didn't know shit to be honest. What I thought was hilarious is that a friend of mine in the UK lives in fancy hotels throughout the entire year because with deals, negotiation and all the services provided it is much cheaper for him than to rent an apartment. He does own a property but he doesn't plan to live there, so it's rented out for a higher price than he pays for hotels. Ridiculous...

Noted! Thank you all. It seems like real estate is the better investment for long-term and bitcoins for short. What about commodities? I don't see people investing in them much.

what i would not do though is sell bitcoin to invest into fiat for real estate.. so if you only have a huge pile of bitcoin.. keep it.. but if u are starting off with fiat.. then for me id say split your funds. 50% real estate 50% bitcoin. as for the time scales.. well you can flip a house in under a year, and bitcoin has the potential to double in under a year (thanks to reward halving) so its not so easy to say if its a short or long term investment.. it just depends on the environment and bitcoin/real estate market conditions.

The best, in my opinion, is not put all the money in the same investment. You can have a part on stocks and another part on bitcoins. And only invest what you can afford to loose.

Commodities is mainly suitable to be invested by institutions. The commodity price is cyclical, ordinary people cannot grasp the peak and bottom. The main benefit of commodity investment is a hedge against inflation. For stock investment, if you find a good company, you can hold the shares for very long time and benefit from the price rise.

The best investment according to me is patience... I know it sucks when you need to remain silent on few things, but you will need to currently wait and watch the markets as I feel if you are into Bitcoins and want to invest in it, better stay away from it currently as you don't know what will be the lows these days... You should wait till the first 20 days of November, then you can go ahead and get some good amount of BTC at lower rates because that's when the real manipulation game starts...

There is no universal answer to this question. It depends on:
1) Risk aversion or risk tolerance 2) Can you afford to lose the capital 3) What returns are you looking for
Without this information the question is unanswerable.
If you are just looking for high returns the answer is anything with volatility. Anything. Penny stocks. Altcoins. Anything. Then time the wild swings of price correctly and you'll make a lot of money. Time the swings incorrectly: you lose.

I see. I was thinking along the lines of gold bars and silver coins rather than crude oil. What are the cons to investing in them? The best investment according to me is patience... I know it sucks when you need to remain silent on few things, but you will need to currently wait and watch the markets as I feel if you are into Bitcoins and want to invest in it, better stay away from it currently as you don't know what will be the lows these days...
