This group effort for tiny payments is an interesting concept. I can imagine that this might be a welcome addition to income for certain undeveloped countries. They only need an internet enabled device and a bitcoin wallet. I don't think it should be much of an issue. OP has paid people in the past, maybe he's just saving up for on big payment instead of smaller chunks??
