I know it sounds crazy to live without the internet, but it isn't a necessity of life.  There are people all over the world that live everyday without the internet.  All the things you mentioned aren't necessities.  You don't need to watch TV.  You can pay your bills by sending a check through the mail.  You can read a news paper instead of online.  (You don't even really NEED to read the news.)  It actually is a very good solution, especially if keeping the internet is causing you to gambling all your money away.

Disagree on this one. Not a necessity in life? What if your boss asks you to send him an email? What if you have to contact people from the other side of the world? Internet has become part of our daily life. Maybe to people who lives under a rock then the Internet isn't a necessity to them.

I think there is no need to cancel your Internet subscription just to avoid excessive online gambling. A simple solution to this problem would be to get your accounts blocked so you couldn't gamble on them for 6 months or more. You can usually do this yourself or ask a customer support to ban you from making bets. You can also blacklist any popular gambling websites you are often visiting on your browser so you can't access them while surfing the net. You need to be motivated to drop that gambling habit and canceling your Internet connection won't make things better because you can always continue gambling offline .

i am getting addicted to gambling.And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.
