How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ?

i tried staying away from gambling, butttttt i cant, its always calling me back poker, sportsbet and dice, this 3 are my vices the temptation is strong

solved it and find a solution or better you find some offline games
and try something new like doing some sport to stay away from gambling

When I read Offline games I instantly imagined old poker player in a session of D&D with his buddies. I simply find that eventuality hard do believe in most cases.
Hear me out: no board games or other hobbies gonna cut it - unless they will create similar or stronger endorphin rush than gambling can offer you.

Gambling addiction is similar to drug addiction there, there is no chance to give up easily there when have no vision into our mind and which is most important thing in our life so that i think it is very long process to make prepare ourself to give up gambling.

I don't believe in a support group like that, the best thing to do is seek advise from your family and accept that you have a problem. I was once addicted in gambling and only my friends that surround me were able to help me. As long as you share you problems with your friends you will probably get the best advice.

What if the one who has problem with his addiction doesn't have a family or he is not with his family maybe he is in other countries what should he do a better option is a group that can help you with your addiction a talk to talk with your co addicted persons but their is a psychologist near them that will advice them in what to do!

just saying try it slowly wouldn't solve anything , i would tell everyone to spend your most time with someone you love like a girlfriend , family etc by have a happy times you might forget to gamble.

haha, that is not going to work because a block is never going to stop an addict from accessing the site unless they ask someone else to do the blocking for them.

because even if you block the site for example by adding it to your Anti virus or firewall you can always remove the restriction with 1 click and even password protecting the AV is not going to work because you will know the password.

Yeah I always go back to gambling somehow if I see a soccer match and there I was not gambling. The match was not cool and not stressful. feels something is missing so I'm always a gamble when there is a soccer game. I don't know if this is addicted or not. but I'm always a gamble in soccer

You might call me strange but in such conditions this actually works :  Start to drink and stop using internet , this way after sometime you will be badly addicted to alcohol but actually leave gambling, then you can treat your alcohol addiction easily as its a physical hobby and not just a virtual or online hobby.

This will not work, you are just replacing a bad habit with another bad habit. Worst case scenario, you get addicted to both and you will end up a drunkard gambler. And you'll always lose because you bet drunk. This is the fastest way to lose money not quit gambling. Get professional help, it's better if you are not afraid to ne judged.

Staying away from gambling is pretty easy if you compare it with other addictions, I think gambling is purely about self controlling.
If you can control yourself there would not be any problem and you can easily stop with it in my eyes.

I think you can not take lightly to the affairs and problems "addiction" if out of a gambling addiction as you say. certainly few people still be addicts or even some people become addicts. because out of the gambling fairly easy?
