Gambling in long run is a profitable. it is upto you what game you are playing, if you are playing casino or dice game then in long run u will be in loss, but if you are playing sports betting then you can be in profit.
I was playing in casino and dice game and went to loss then i started sports betting . doing analysis in games about team and their stats and records with this help i was able to judge the bet and started to bet in same betting range whether win or loss only with same amount of bet value. and now i am recovered my loss and i am in little bit of profit.

Its always depends in the game if you are just playing in dice game in long term base you can be lose and never made any profit but if you gamble your money in poker or sports betting this is a long term games.. so you can make a profitalbe in long term base.. because sports betting is easy to predict and poker it depends in your skills..

OK. You are right. I am also with you in this matter. Sports betting is more profitable in long term than dice and etc. but I think dice also gives you profit. So if you educate yourself on the probability then you can get an edge over the other players and then make money long term. For example, if you have flopped a flush draw, there is a 33% chance you will get your flush by the end. 15% each card basically. |

Because it is quite rare if you are lucky in gambling so that is really bad, but you have to know that the chance of losing is really high.

Gambling will be profitable only when you are lucky and that is because it is not that easy to earn some money with gambling because it happens not that often to earn money.
Because it is quite rare if you are lucky in gambling so that is really bad, but you have to know that the chance of losing is really high.
As you wrote it is rare to be lucky.. but it is more about house edge of casino than about your luck. Rules of every casino are this same - House Edge have to be on plus, so over 50% for casino. It is logic, that even if you are lucky sooner o later in long run you will lose. With luck, this time will only be extended. |

Yep. Say, even if you have played the game a million of times and spent years playing it. There's no really way you can beat the odds just that. Rolling a dice simply gives you 1 out of 6 chances of winning. There is no way you can change that. |

I agree. In sports, for example Basketball, if you can just predict who will be the champion then you can bet to that team from the start of the season until the end. That way you will earn much in the long run versus predicting the winner every game. |

that is the power of probability. In the short run, a lot of people manage to win a few times and start to believe that they are able to constantly gain profit from gambling. To follow on this, the way casinos work is to make you think you are flipping a fair coin when you are actually flipping a loaded coin. It's not a coin that always lands on heads. But one that is designed to land on heads 54 times out of 100 instead of 50 will make the person betting on heads (the casino) a lot of money over time. Also note, that how it's possible for gambling to be profitable in the long term, build a casino and put the odds in your favor. |
