Hi,
Does anyone know if there's any Bitcoin related project that offers a decentralized bond market? Or if it's in the works? Something like Poloniex, where people can lend shorts and longs for an interest, but decentralized of course. Does it exist? Even if it's another platform or altcoin? I don't like to rely on exchanges as I'm not the one holding the private keys.

Stratis: Same supply as Ethereum + Masternodes + ICOs + Bitcoin a Core Dev. 90% cheaper than Eth. Do the math.

Traders are able to place themselves "in debt", see exchanges with margin trading where people lend lol. If only you applied as much time giving a decent reply as you took searching for that gif trying to be funny.

decentralised.. is a highly over used word..
as soon as there needs to be a server to link users together to communicate 'offers' and to hold users in debt to account, its not decentralised..
i do not beleive that there is a standalone executable that is truely 'p2p' that gives the communication ability to make 'offers'/loans/shorts

Well isn't that why we have smartcontracts for?

Bond = Bondage. Why would anybody want to buy himself slavery, I cannot understand Centralized or no , the instrument itself is messy.

People can lend to other people who margin trade.

poloniex manages this.. they hold people to account for losses. a decentralised model would cause people to just 'leg it' if they lose and not repay if they win.
