Anyone here has 21 BTC or more? I see some people aiming for that as a long term goal and long term hold, I also would like to reach this amount, that is why I hope for the price to stay as low as possible so it's easier to achieve, if it keeps growing it will be impossible for me. I still don't even have 2 figures. There is just something great knowing that you are part of only 1 million people to ever own 21 BTC, I would like that.
Actually no, but hope to be a part of it as soon as possible. But I've to do this before the raising of price. (Something will happen in the next year, I guess).

Yeah same here, it is a race against the clock, the more time goes on, the more risks of the price going up and therefore the dream of having 21 BTC will be just impossible, it has to be done as quick as possible before people start understanding Bitcoin and getting in. I hope people remain as ignorant as they are now for a longer period.

Still aiming to join the 1 million club.. Have a while to go but I've been steadily building the stack since I got into bitcoin.
I do spend them also actually, but I always make sure to restock on them at the end of the week after spending to keep my stack growing.

And what do you call the person who has 210? the hundred thousand club? I think you would be part of the 210,000 group. Satoshi is part of the 21 group, because as far as I remember, he was the only person to own 1 million Bitcoin, which is pretty insane. But who knew Bitcoin would reach any value, back then you were insane to think it would reach 1 dollar, let alone 1k+.

I guess if we had the ability to check how many Bitcoins people on this forum owns, you would be shocked. In my opinion and based off some figures I saw on Bitcoin addresses and their content, only about 5% of people own more than 10 Bitcoins. It is a very rough estimate, but I would guess 30%+ of the active forum members on here, owns more than 1 or 2 bitcoins and then I am being very optimistic, because I think it might be even lower.

More than 10 bitcoins would be $3000+. Given that there is substantial representation from developing countries (Indonesia, Phillippines, China, etc) where the average USD income would be low, people might not hold such high amounts of bitcoins.

One can never tell what's true and what isn't, but it is surprising when some very established posters admit to having little more than dust. It's also easy to forget how extreme this is as an 'investment'. Not many people have a few thousand lying around ready to be thrown at something that could vapourise.

i was above the 1/500k club, but then sold a bunch, now i'm around that
i regret having sold those coins, but i needed the money so bad in the past
Damn, that's cool. How did you get your coins? I recall being aware of bitcoin when it was in the tens, then at about $100 and still hadn't bought at that time. It seemed difficult to get into it at that point (obviously it wasn't impossible though.) I wish i was aware of faucets at that time since they paid decent fractions of coins at that time. I'm close to 1M club, just 20BTC. I spent less than 10k $. It's all i can risk, no more.
Congrats to this achievement...and an average cost of $500 per coin. You could lower your average cost by buying more and then sell what you're not comfortable owning once the price pops again. 21 BTC is a great goal...how are other people planning to reach it?

It's funny that the term "1 million club" refers to someone owning just 21 BTC and the "21 club" refers to someone owning 1 Million BTC.
It's the opposite in the fiat world...

I hold two digits, but not enough to be in that club. It's nice to be a part of those who holds 30 btc or more, but someday I'll hold that much--probably enough for me to stop working and just enjoy life.
