Gambling is addicting due to the fact its entertainment, you are enjoying it and if you enjoy something you want to play it more often.
I think this is happening in most cases, its also that people think they can earn money fast.
Yes the entertaining work gives you more enjoyment at the same time make you forget to use your knowledge and experience. Most of the funniest things including gambling in the world will make you not to use your brain and get addicted to it. |

I'm pretty sure he meant to say "entertainment". Either way, advertisements is also a determinant of why there are many people get to know about gambling. Hence, it produces a lot of addicted gamblers. For instance, the advertisement in yours and my signature as well as other participants that are currently a participant in related to gambling signature campaign. Well, I earn a few bits just for referring others. |

You can not say that gambling addiction is like addiction with smoke, it is not the same and a very different kind of likeliness addiction attack your mind while smoking attack your lungs and gambling addiction is a sickness that needs proper medical attention while smoking can be stop little by little. I mean the model of addiction, why be called the same? for 2 addiction is equally difficult to stop. |

People tend to go for options where they can quickly make a lot of cash. And gambling provides them this option. They play and keep playing hoping they will win the jackpot eventually. Yup! Playing gambling provides that option in winning instant money for you but it hasa negative draw back when you lose and that can be irritating and can lead to frustration so you need to just bet small amount of money so not all money you have could be lost. |
