Because it makes people happy when they won some money and it attack on people's greedy. They don't want to lost their money so they keep playing to win again. Many people win big mney in gambling so they addicted too  The addiction comes not because you are winning but rather because you are losing and you cannot stop until you get what you lose. It's common to people who gamble without enough money because they tend to spend money that is out of budget already. |

Because humans are more interested in fun than work . As well as with gambling, most fun thing to do. Even when it has swallowed alot lose, our mind will continue to invite ourselves to gamble.
I think there is an associated sense of happiness associated with gambling when one wins. On losses the stimulus for gambling increases even more. Although it seems contradictory but gambling only stimulates the brain to gamble more and not stop. That is what happens in real life - people are blinded by the advertisements and casino owners statements and dont think twice before gambling. |

For me, gambling is so addicting to people who always wants to stake or in people who wants to have fun through wagering his money. Maybe for them they get victorious feeling if they win and if they are lost they will find a way to bet again to get back how much money they lost in gambling. Some people take gambling as for fun and other is for a hobby. Gambling for fun is different from Gambling as a hobby. Gambling for fun is you do not take gambling seriously just like you gamble to kill your time while gambling as a hobby is you want to gambled everyday, or over and over again until you do not have a money in your pocket.
However, addicting in gambling is depends on people's mindset on how far will they get addicted in gambling.

People work , trade and do alot of other thing that could get them money but they are just doing it because they get money. Yes it could be the reason why gambling is so addicting it is the emotions that we feel everytime we play. We feel happy on every winnin thats why we keep on coming back in gambling and it keep us focus on it, and then we doesnt know that we have been addicted we dont know it because we enjoyed the game and were happy about it. |

yes it is, i have so much fan in gambling and i have been enjoying gambling, it is addicting also because of its value and the thing that i think it is challenging for me, i have been challenged because i just want to earn by making a basic strategy and my mind was being trained to think more and it a good for me, i have been addicted to gambling because i treat it as a sport using mind. |

i think that is all because that gambling always give us hope that we can make money in by playing gambling a very very short time and without any hard work and struggle, we even do not need for any experience and knowledge about gambling, in fact most of the people willing to make a big money in a short time, but they do not study the other aspect of gambling where they have to accept the fact that the chances of losing money in gambling is more as compare to the chance of making money. |

The majority are the one that actually blame greed when they lose, they know they can stop but they choose to not stop and rage when they lose Most of the time it is easier to blame something or someone else than to recognize that we are the ones that are at fault when it comes to our behavior, that is a very common defense mechanism that people use to protect themselves of having to examine themselves. |

And regardless of your situation in life once you started to gamble, you will become addicted on it no matter how good or bad you gamble. The entertainment and excitement it gives to the people is why gambling is addicting plus the possible money you can win. Everything can be addictive as long as it provides you with a feeling of enjoyment or excitement, a euphoria if you will. The brain enjoys the extra dopamine created by it, and the happy feeling is there, and if you are starting to get addicted to it, then you are probably going to be dependent on that. It's like being high on something, and that's illegal for a reason. |
