There is one that I could think of: entertainment. Gambling is intended to be a form of entertainment and not a means to get you to your riches. Another thing is that some people are being too greedy that once they know they can win, they will continue on doing it in hopes of hitting the jackpot.

No. There really isn't. Gambling is an entertainment, but people take it to far. Sure, you could make a few bucks, but these sites have the potential to make you lose more. Say thanks to something called a "house edge"  True, this is why I do it for pure entertainment and not even trying to win. I feel like whenever I try to win, I lose more than I win. It's best to gamble for entertainment and not to actually make money. It's a lot of pressure you put on yourself if you're going to do this full time. Well there is advantages, what you said entertaiment that is one advantage and if you are lucky and win thats the second one. True that they are a few advantages and the other is just lose or maybe luck. |

Or it can also ber minimized by choosing skill based games like blackjack and poker Even if we are playing games with lowest house edge we are gambling against the odds So better try choosing skill games where less your luck and more your skills work |

Only if you are lucky right? Although you have luck doesnt mean you can suddenly hit jackpot and win everything in one night. Luck is depends on your effort when you playing it so if you can play more than usual people did you will create this luck by your side. The advantage is if you manage to stay in the winning side.
Either by having a positive profit in the long run(sport tipsters, professional gamblers, professional poker players, I think around 1% of the gamblers only), or if you win and move away

Yes the most advantage is if you winning oh well I like winning, but with gambling I always lose at the end that is why I stop playing it. For me gambling is fun just once a moth. I wish I was a professional poker. With that I can be millionaire. |

Most of the people in gambling are to make money and people playing for fun are very less. So if you're in the process of making money than surely no one can be in a relaxed mode. Most of these gamblers are always thinking or worrying about there loses or how to make money in next game. |

i agree with this. a lot of my friends that gamble, they also keep telling others that it is very hard to win in casino but yet they always still go. it is because they like to enjoy this kind of sensation which no other entertainment can provide them. |

IMO gambling's only advantage is that you get the thrill and the feeling of playing... You're on the edge of your seat, and you really want to win this, but you know you probably will lose.
Otherwise no, there's no real monetary advantages linked to gambling at all.
