IMO gambling's only advantage is that you get the thrill and the feeling of playing... You're on the edge of your seat, and you really want to win this, but you know you probably will lose.

Otherwise no, there's no real monetary advantages linked to gambling at all.

well they alrdy have the mindset to lose, so when they win, it is something bonus for them. like go on a trip with casino available. if lose, treat it as part of the trip. but when u win, the trip can be free and that is a great thinking to have. so that is why they gamble.

Gambling does not have a positive house edge so their is not a chance that you will make ROI in the long term
However if some bonuses are used or promos their may be a bit of a positive edge if your lucky.

Yes, if you gamble only some times and gamble for fun with small amounts than any one can really enjoy the gambling and that will be the advantage but most of the gamblers use it for earning quick money so end up losing lot of money and need to face lot of worries.

What you said is true when you start gambling with the intention of making profit on that day. Because if gambling any thing can happen either win or lose but mostly we will lose at the end so if you had a intention to make profit than surely one will have lot of stress. The advantage is winning if done right and this can be achieved with poker and sports betting.  You must really study it and learn it or at least get advice from top sports handicappers.  Other than sports and poker, the advantage should be considered pure entertainment because the odds are stacked against you in all other forms.  Good luck!

There are advantages for houses we all know that.  But there is at least one advantage for player which is fun. We all need to do something for fun sometimes. For some people gambling is a good option. But don't gamble with amount you can't afford to lose (which has been said hundreds of times here).

Only advantage I get from gambling is entertainment. Other than entertainment I get profits from my winnings.
Which doesn't happen a lot so I don't gamble that much either.
