I think the reason makes people don't believe in Bitcoin is the big lack of knowledges on the community. Teach them more about the blockchain, about the Bitcoin system and things gonna be better.

Lack of knowledge and they don't want to put any stain on their business because of that thing. They mostly think that bitcoin is something illegal and they don't want to put themselves and their business as well at risk, talking to them in the easiest way and reaching them about the acceptance of bitcoin is through letting them read articles about bitcoin and just wait for the updates coming from well known tech-people.

I think it's simple to encourage local businesses to accept Bitcoin now a days. Because crypto world use different strategy like social internet and media too. If you are a local business you need to evolve too like Bitcoin and other alternative coins as well. It's a demand to upgrade technology to sustain your online business for a future references. Simple, you need to evolve to survive.
It's not simple to encourage local businesses to accept bitcoin even for today. Not all of them are educated about modern technology and some are still skeptic about bitcoin. Although if the country or government your living in has approved the usage of bitcoin then that's a good initiative for anyone to start a conversation on a businessman about bitcoin and he'll take it lightly but seriously since it was advised.

For me, if you encourage a local business that is not educated like you've said in previous comment. It's totally problematic in the first place. Why you create or build local business if you are not educated in that particular business. Now a days, it almost 80 percent of local business use technology like computer and many more. So don't target those not educated because they will not understand it. I said it's simple cause if they are connected in internet they will easily understand it because of many facts about bitcoin.

Dealing with those businessman that are uneducated is going to be a problem to you but I doubt it that you'll be dealing with them about bitcoin or talking about it as them being an uneducated person. They will not into their position now if they are uneducated in the first place. Not only 80% of local businesses that are using technology but majority of them are.
Actually I didn't understand your point on dealing those uneducated business man. If you encounter problem on them, don't encourage . Maybe someday they will understand it. Simple as it.

I think if there were a lot of people that simply ask "do you accept bitcoin" this would make the business think to themselves everyone is asking about this bitcoin thing let me find out what it is and then once they look into it they may adopt it or even come back to you to ask for more information.

Other larger companies with an online space would have systems where they log support queries so over time if they keep getting the same query they will no doubt look into it or already be looking into it.
The use of Bitcoin at this time is still reaping controversy. as the only currency regulator in my country, has declared a firm stance against Bitcoin since two years ago. "Bitcoin is not a valid means of payment, because it does not have a clear idea as well

As per my opinion, Social media marketing takes a big role if you want to promote or sell something on local or globally.
Start to convince all local retailers through SMM to accept Bitcoins.

I am looking to help move BTC forward into our economy more and would like to get some suggestions on how we can get more retailers to accept BTC as a payment.  The best part about accepting BTC is that they do not have any threat of charge-back from the customer.  I am just looking for some more input before I start approaching some of these local retailers.
Well, all what the local retailers need is education of what Bitcoin potential is all about and other crypto currency has in stock if they should invest start accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment in there various shop's and the rest of them.

The truth is I want to convince some of my member of my family because he has a pretty big business and that would be great if he will accept cryptocurrencies as a payment per contract, this can increase awareness too. My mother have some grocery store and the everyday profit of that store is not bad, the thing here is that the people who are 40 years old older or even the 30's is not listening to me, yup they know about cryptocurrencies and they know that I'm earning too, but still they cant welcome this technology in their lives, they are content with the present system, they are content following the old rules. I don't know but i think this is how they grow, this is the world they have lived in ( it's not that i'm saying that all are like this) , Im just saying that we have a better chance on the youngster that have some business nowadays and we must pick them as our audience in spreading the cryptocurrencies awareness.

Our generation grew up with technology. It evolved as we grew up. This new generation has had it since they were babies. That's crazy. It fundamentally changes they way they understand and think about technology. They've never known life without it, whereas we knew life without the Internet.

When there's SMM involve that's all about advertising of such service and I don't think we need it for bitcoin's acceptance and encouragement for local business just to adopt bitcoin. We just need to have some small talk and take time to let them know that bitcoin is something that we can use for their business and at the same time for investment too so it's a 3 in 1 for them. Currency, payment method and investment.

I think if you manage to tell them there won't be no fees like no structure behind to regulate the transactions and slow it down, no intermediates well yes they might accept this whole thing. But don't just go there trying to explain them this whole thing, they wouldn't understand.

i would do it simple, tell them the advantages of bitcoin, the fact about very low or zero fee, and the fact that is less trouble some than fiat

you can also add that the payment and confirmation can be instant, if they ask about it, just need to work with an off chain system liek bitpay
Yes sir i follow your method. Firstly i discuss about bitcoin popularity and advantage over the world, then i inspire them about low fee of bitcoin and transaction method is so easy. I hope i will get their feedback.
I agree with you. We need to show them the value and advantages of bitcoin. Then we tell them how easily they can make profit by bitcoin. I also hope that they use bicoin and accept it cordially.

if the business man does not fully understand of Bitcoin,  you can tell the 10K btc 1 pizza story,  the guy who sold out pizza and accepted BTC did the best deal in his life.  Cheesy

Yes the fact is if you will brief the things related to bitcoin and crypto currency to anyone in your social circle in the best possible way and in a way which can help them in learning the things more efficiently, then they will listen to you as this is thing which will help them at the end in making more money. Same is the case for the ones who are sitting there in local market, you do need to convince them in a way they find it beneficial for them.

Let them personally experience bitcoin. It really is hard for them to accept something they do not know. Social media also helps a lot. Spread the news on the popular social media sites, groups and pages. Highlight on the advantages. Make comparisons so that they may realize how easy and safe it is to use bitcoin.

You can also give them those websites that are related to bitcoin and that's going to give them an idea about bitcoin. Lack of knowledge is the first problem that we will face when it comes to encouraging these local businesses but once they already know what they are taking that will give them some idea on what bitcoin really is and in the end they might be encouraged alone.

The purpose of a business is profit. If you don't explain what the BTC is, what benefits will it bring to the enterprise, and the company will not venture to invest.

All sorts of payment in a business is acceptable, it's rational and it's
practical. How on earth will your trade and venture survive if one
fails or refuses to adapt an emerging solution and option in finance.
Bitcoin is no exception, if businesses big or small would integrate
and implement the usage of bitcoins it will bring more profits and
attract customers. It's the next thing to speed up transactions and
offer more alternative means of payment and investment.
You could show them websites that have btc payments to encourage
them the new trend and explain how such an innovation could aid
businesses to the next level. Let them try and experience bitcoins.

It's not as easy as you think, they're not going to start accepting because one person wants to pay with it, with time more people will start to use BTC and then it will happen automatically but still you can plant the idea in their head and explain to them what it is but only if they seem interested.

Better idea is if you use some online stores/services tell them how you would have loved to pay with bitcoin.
We all know that the support of people serve as one of the vital factor for bitcoin to experience development and growth when it comes to its price and value. So we don't really need to encourage people n a manner that we need to put much effort because our support is enough for business and institutions to see the range of bitcoin when it comes to transactions and businesses.

The thing is how you will encourage them and tell them the advantages of bitcoin. If you are really want to uplift the cryptobusiness near you then you have to do something like to sacrifice few of your mBTC and show them on how bitcoin transactions are working for those who wants to get in. Also tell them the pros and cons of having it, focus mainly with the volatility of it as if they are enthusiasts and economists they will understand the positivity and advantage of it.

One way to help convince retailers would be to say that bitcoin is safe and secure. It is also a fast way to pay for goods and services.
