There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

CoinRebates is looking quite cool, although it looks more aimed towards the US market, nice for those who shop in these places unfortunately for me I am not one of these people.

Cool. So whenever I need to buy Amazon.com giftcard from Gyft I can get rebate from two locations. The gyft on site reward and coinrebate rebate. I have bookmarked this site. Anyway, this topic should be in the Service Announcement forum.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

Yes, only for Europe. I have used all these stores when I was living in the states. As I know they don't ship to Europe.

This is still a great program and a great initiative for all Americans. I wish we had something like this In Europe. This is where US is much ahead of Europe, in promotions like this and in places in general where you can spend your bitcoins by shopping online.

Many online store accept BTC in Canada as well. NCIX, GMG, Newegg too, etc. So a lot of stores might extent to Canada, but i'm not sure this will be the same outside of North America.

Cashback sites are a big deal in the UK too. It's a shame none of them are doing BTC because you can gather a lot of money doing it.

That is acceptable, although people like you and me don't benefit. US is a large economy, has relatively higher US adoption compared to other regions and it is easier to tie up with businesses there. As Bitcoin adoption picks up, I am sure more markets will be added.

We have some stores that will ship to UK, but we'll work on having a better solution for UK and other countries.

We do. Once you've registered your bitcoin address on the site, navigate to http://www.coinrebates.com/account/tools?tab=notifications and enter your email address to subscribe.

Ah ok i will register, if you promise not to spam me Wink

If you add local stores perhaps you can specify it in your store list:
http://www.coinrebates.com/stores

I don't have time to check every site out to see if they ship to germany.

this is akin to purse.io as they offer a big discount the more you buy thing, it's an indirect earning but the same value

how much is the earning on average here? because with purse you it is up to 50% which is very big
