I was shaking on my first transaction done with blockchain.info, because i feared that I send btc to the wrong address.

Now i`m using electrum and now i can verify 3 times the address before sending it, feels more safe.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Sad to hear that you got scammed in your very first experience but the good news is that you learnt from your mistakes and now you would think twice before investing your bitcoins into any ponzi scheme, my first experience was bit same I lost my bitcoins in gambling as I wanted to grow my bitcoins too.

i first heard about btc back when it was around $1000 and got a lot of attention, i started using btc for transactions last year .That was the first time i ever bought btc. so far btc seems like a really good way to do transactions ,the only thing limiting it would be the volatility of the price.

Somehow I amass a whole quarter yes (.25 cents) U.S.D from a faucet and then I put in a wallet a while ago. This is when it was pretty expensive around maybe 2013. I really didn't get involved when it was first introduced because it was so new. I wish I heard about it in the beginning of 2009.

I knew bitcoin in yeah 2013, but I was not really interested about it until it was to late.
My first with bitcoin well satoshi, because I did some faucets. I was really happy that in 30 min. I could earn like 25 cents. It took so long to just get 0.1 bitcoin so I stop. So yeah I think bitcoin is awesome to have and to just earn money.

My first time with bitcoin was not that awesome I was stupid that I got scammed. It was not that big amount of bitcoin I have lost.
But getting scam is just my fault. But the nice think was that with bitcoin I have earn quite a lot of cash with just trading it.

I feel you man. That fear of sending coins to the wrong address is still strong within me. I usually double, triple check addresses and amount of BTC.
I've seen people sending 0.5 btc instead of 0.05, so you will be better safe now than sorry later.

Me too... When I first found bitcoin, I was actually finding a way for free bitcoins. The I use faucets and paid-to-click sites for my very first coins. Then I have 'invested' my first 0.001 BTC to a HYIP site (by that time I still don't know how dangerous those sites are, nor joined here in bitcointalk), and then I of course, lost them.
So for all first time bitcoiners, don't spend your first coins without doing research on the site that you're spending your bitcoins to.

I came across bitcoin on Google, while I was searching for ways of earning money online. So, I read more about it on Wikipedia, after that I joined some faucets and made few bitcoins, which I mostly used to fill up my phone then, later I decided to start alt coin mining and investing in bitcoin.
