"This must be another Ponzi scheme!", this was what I told myself the first time I heard about bitcoin.

However, the more I read about it, I more I realise the "ideas" behind bitcoin about freedom and decentralisation, not back by anyone, or group of people, or company, or a government.

I hope bitcoin continue to be led by these values...

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Your First Time experience with BTC ??
I was trying to buy some BTC, at that time, only MtGOX has it, but i have to wire money there so I did pull the trigger

When did you start using BTC for transactions??
I bought some Lite coin with my bit coin. Thinking lite coin will catch up with bitcoin, This is a huge loss.

What do you feel about BTC after using it for such a long time??
Bitcoin is too volatile, when I try to pay with bitcoin, the store owner is like they will have to sell right away ...

Dear BTC users,

When I first visited BTC Talk, I saw it as a good marketplace (it is the best, no doubt)...never knew or used BTC before, even after being a member for a long time, i didn't use BTC and instead i used Paypal...

Recently (before 2-3 weeks), I created a new Bitcoin Account and started using BTCs for the first time...I'm overexcited to use BTCs than any other form of money transfers these days...Smiley Smiley This is huge turning point for me.

BTC have loads of potential, I'm still a beginner with BTC. This forum is too addictive and changed my life considerably.

1.) Your First Time experience with BTC ??
2.) When did you start using BTC for transactions??
3.) What do you feel about BTC after using it for such a long time??

-------------------

I wanted to ask you guys a few questions related to BTC...

1.) Do any of you Use BTC for International Transfers ?? (In my opinion BTC save a lot of money as we won't have BANK Fees, Interbank transfers, no currency conversion charges, safe and instant transfer)

2.) How about BTC Trading (over forex/ share market) everyday?? is it wise to invest on BTC and do trading??

please feel free to share your Views...Smiley Smiley Happy to see you all BTCTalkers...Smiley

1. My first time experience with bitcoin is around 2013-2014.
2. I start using bitcoin for transactions is the middle of 2014. around july-august, after i received my payment.
3.  i don't about trading. Yes i think it's good to invest on bitcoin.

I lost most of my original coins to HYIP and cloud mining. PBMining and HashProfit to be exact

I used to play faucets probably 2-3 years ago. At that time I thought what I'm doing is worth my time until I realize after knowing the conversion rate that there are other things that are worthy of my time.

my first experience with bitcoin was a good one, because my close friend introduced me to bitcoin and taught me all i needed to know about it and even set up a wallet for me and game me some BTC to test everything.

now that more than a year is past i am still happy to have found out about bitcoin.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I read about BTC in early 2011 from some anarcho site,
downloaded the wallet, did not do anything with it, and soon
forgot all about it.

I kick myself mentally whenever I think about that!

i first experienced it when i used bitcoins for checkingout for cs go keys like a year ago
One my friends used to use Bitcoins for trading, I was asking him about it but he said that first I have to learn online and should know about the bitcoins in you tube or in google. and then he started to tell me that this is a digital money where there is lots of benefits are there. He showed me, how he do transactions and get money through ATM after selling his bitcoins to a trader. It was a nice experience knowing about it.

1.) Your First Time experience with BTC ??

first time I heard about bitcoin was a long time ago, it was around the time when price was going higher and higher (before the $1000 bubble) it was the time that you could mine bitcoin with your PC at home, but since I didn't have a good system and no money to buy a better one, I could not get into mining which I still regret to this day.

Quote
2.) When did you start using BTC for transactions??

I started using bitcoin after the bubble phase ended and the more I read about it the more I liked the technology. and my first transaction was to my blockchain.info wallet and it was from faucet earnings.

Quote
3.) What do you feel about BTC after using it for such a long time??

I still love bitcoin without a question. the fast transactions, and the fact that I don't have to rely on a website and obey their rules (like Paypal) in order to use bitcoin is the best option for me.

1.) Do any of you Use BTC for International Transfers ?? (In my opinion BTC save a lot of money as we won't have BANK Fees, Interbank transfers, no currency conversion charges, safe and instant transfer)

well, I have bought some things online, all those sending/receiving are being done oversees if that's what you mean

yeah, trading was one of the first things that I started doing after a while that I learned how to use bitcoin. I mostly am active in trading altcoins these days since bitcoin market was boring for a long time.

Like many people here, I also have started using bitcoin as a faucet user. So, my 1st experience about bitcoin was not that much fruitful. Claiming 100, 200, 300 satoshi every hour and storing them in microwallet account was so frustrating.

So now how you earn bitcoins ? Using only signature compaigns or any other method?
Please let me know.

Luckily I did not spend more time with faucets because I started my own faucets and this period of my bitcoin life is
amazing. Now I am enjoying my work and getting paid in bitcoin. Really bitcoin changed my life a lot.

I bought it when the price was around $250 last year, I had opportunity to buy when the price was $100 but at that time I felt it is waste of time and money to invest in, and I missed the boat.
