I've only just come across this thread - are you looking for people to mine vanity wallets, or are you offering to do them just on your own?
I offer them on my own, but I have no problem if others adopt the model. My main cost factor is electricity and some other estimates I made to balance out the variance. You should also take a look at this[1] post as most of the address have alredy been calculated and delivered. [1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1257817.msg13032456#msg13032456

I can answer that Exact case is not possible, an upper case i is not allowed. 1SmartiPhone would take about a million years. Case insensitive thousands of years. Anything above 8 digits is virtually impossible at the moment.

"I" is not a valid character, if I replace it with a one (1) or a lower chase "i", the exact case would take ~45,000 years for a 50% chance. Any case would only take ~900 years for a 50% chance. If you can reduce it by 3-4 symbols I think I could make you one though.

I don't want to undercut you at all, so I'd go with what you are charging. I'm more interested in this side of using my GPU's than for mining. I think I'm interpreting your "case insensitive" back to front which is why the examples aren't making much sense. I also don't mind setting and leaving run for a week or two.

Shorena, do you know how much would it take to turn my username into BTC address ? 1Teddy5145 or 1teddy5145 Thanks With nearly 50Mkeys/sec it'd take me 75 years to reach 50%, so not going to happen I'm afraid to say.

Yeah, its the wording vanitygen uses. I usually use different words when making offers (exact case and any case). If the entry in the table is Y I used the -i flag. I prefer to go for quicker 6-18 hours (50% chance) addresses. I can direct the ones I deem too long for me to you if you want. IIRC you use 2 GPUs at a total of ~50Mkeys/s, right?

While generating address for 1King won't you get more address starting with 1King? Or only one address? I asked if you could give me all the addresses generated at certain time. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
It depends on the config settings that he uses. If he was searching explicitly for 1King the program will stop once he finds that address, though he can set it to continue searching until he stops it manually. However, this would likely cost a decent amount more, as he will be using a lot more computational power. With the -k switch the program will continue to find solutions, so depending on how many minutes or indeed hours 1King wanted to pay for there'd be hundreds if not thousands. I am wondering which card are you using to get such long vanities within a short time?
Is it the Nvidia GTX TITAN X 12GB DDR5?
I am looking forward to buy one card as I'm willing to find this prefix by myself: 1kingalt1

The first three examples are all the same - but the price you're suggesting are different.

Case sensitive 16 days at 25Mkeys/s Case insensitive about 24 hours. In both cases, this is to get to 50% so can be MUCH longer. As to price, same thing, I'll go with shorena 's suggestion and offer a 10% cut.

You have to use upper-case Lima - ie "L" and India - "I" can only be lower case "i" , so you'd be after 1kingaLt1 - I would suggest you try 1KingALT1 which looks more ascetic. Case Insensitive It'd take ~ 24hours to get to the dreaded 50%, then it's something like another 24 hours to get to 75%, another 24 hours to 80% and so on. Not sure why it does that. Case sensitive it's take ~ 8 days at near 50Mkeys/s to reach 50% then another 8 days to reach 75% ... as above.

I was typing the exact same thing before I read the next page. Note that 1king takes about 40 times longer than 1King. This holds for every combination: starting with upper case is much faster. It'd take ~ 24hours to get to the dreaded 50%, then it's something like another 24 hours to get to 75%, another 24 hours to 80% and so on. Not sure why it does that. 24 hours is the time required for 50% chance to hit it. If you stop and restart your search at any possible time, it is still 24 hours for 50%. If you don't find it the first 24 hours, it is still 24 hours for 50% chance, but calculating from the start of your search, you have a 75% chance to find it in 2 days. You can be lucky or unlucky to find it.

It could take forever to find an address starting with 1btc its just not likely. I had simple addresses go to 98% (vanitygen does not show higher percentages) and even some more difficult ones.

[/quote] No, that's not what I'm talking about - at the bottom of the values [25.10 Mkey/s][total 394801446912][Prob 0.0%][50% in 1.2y] When it ticks over to 50.01 % it becomes an expected 75% and the time expected is about the same as for 50%. I've just watched the time take 98% from finding to finding and the time 50% , 75%, 80%, expected were similar even though the percent was getting smaller. Most people think there's some kind of "luck" involved when they find a solution early. I wouldn't like to go to the Casino with that faith that "luck" will be on their side. *edit* and I've seen it more than once get to 100% and the percentage value is removed and it just keeps going until a solution is found, then the value for the next solution is presented.
