Check here you will know all of thew available machines and directly order them from the provided website. I have to say mining is not profitable for individual if you don't have cheap electricity.

For starters, try to start with an antminer or a miner from Spondoolies Tech.

They are easy to setup and reliable. Buying a second hand one, would be good too.

You will also need a PSU and look at requirements.   There are not a whole lot of PSU's that have 10 PCIe.   Most that do are server ones with breakout or attached directly.

But if you have 220/240 yes bitmain has a PSU that will work fine with it.  Keep PSU cost in mind when buying.

exactly what notlist3d said it needs a PSU with ten PCEI plugs, each plug should be a single  PCEI Plug try not to share plugs for safely reason but pretty much you won't need any thing else  but a network cable , either be in a country that has 240 for standard power if your in the US have a 220 30 amp line installed unless you have one all ready . try to use one PSU for the whole miner . need a ISP to run it over .

tip : if you live in the US why not buy  http://zoomhash.com/products/avalon-6-3-65-ths-shipping-from-stock-in-us

Avalon 6 you don't  need a 220 line and any 1300 watt psu will do fine try to make the PSU a gold standard or better, it's cheaper, then bitmains antminer s7, from the reviews the Avalon 6, may even be better. it may be 1 th less speed but it's easier to hock up the other thing you need to buy with it is a raspberry PI kit they offer one for 75 $  at order time  .

just because bitmains is faster doesn't all ways mean it's better, i thought it was at one point but some of the review for the Avalon 6 either make it better or = with less issue to use it .

I'm about to buy a Avalon 6, I'm sold on it, i was going to buy a antminer S7 but i like the Avalon 6 more, i just sold off all my old miners . but in the end it's up to you, were you live for shipping and power lines etc, but i would look for or buy a antminer S5 first, just to learn on then go from there . antminer S5 resell value is not to bad right now and the antminer S7 replaced the antminer S5 , if you shop you can get one for 350 US or better you only need a 750 watt PSU, network cable and ISP and any 110 line will work if your US based try to make sure the PSU has four single PCEI plugs . or ask here a few will post links to some nice ones or even offer some sweet deals.

And you make a good point as far as US home miners.  Most have 110/120.  I know that's what I had until I built my mining area.

The S7 is very good for 220/240.   But 110/120... finding a PSU with proper amount of PCIe is harder for a decent price.  220/240 you can easily get a S7 PSU from bitmain.  But again you need the higher volt electricity for the PSU to start.

With Avalon 6 it is using 4 separate PCIe and they recommend a 1200 watt PSU, which is a much more common PSU as far as home market.

If I were you, I would go with the S7, this is the most efficient miner available to consumer now. Unless you want to use it inside your home as a heater because it is loud. I run my miners in my garage so noise is not an issue. Only benefit Avalon 6 might have is down clock/down volt capability to reduce noise at a lower w/GH ratio also at lower hash rate, but no one has confirmed it yet. I know that philipma1957 will test it once he gets his Avalon 6s on Tuesday. BTW I went ahead and ordered an Avalon 6 just to try it out, couldn't resist zoomhash's $100 off coupon and $6.95 priority mail shipping. Buy a better PSU like EVGA 1300/1600, they come with 10 year warranty, it will out last many generations of miners. If you have acces to 208-240 V, server PSU would be a better option.

OP still has not said electricity price.   So it's kinda hard to recommend him gear yet.

Until you know that we cannot really say what efficiency he needs.  We can guess and speculate.  But we need more info.

I hope that you understand what are you getting into here. I also hope that you understand that if you don't have a free electricity or nearly free electricity you will just lose money as a lone miner and even if your electricity is nearly free, you might take a while to ROI!

Also you need to think about space to put your miners in, colling, etc!

I don't kno if it's fair to say if you don't have free electricity you will lose money.  I have bought and ROI'ed over many different machines in the past, and I have decent electricity nos steal.

But you really cannot make generalizations with one size fits all comments when it comes to miners. Also with winter coming up or her for some mining is easier for a lot of home miners.
