When I online shop with Bitcoin, I only use purse.io as they give you a 20% discount from retail price and they are a website that only accepts Bitcoin. When I go on other sites I use Paypal as more sites accept Paypal compared to Bitcoin. Also, with Paypal, you don't need an escrow so you don't have to worry about the escrow fees.

At the moment I'm not spending any bitcoins, I'm just holding on to them for now.
So yes I do use paypal more frequently than bitcoin when I'm paying for online stuff.

Online shopping usually requires the user to wait for a few confirmations which is quite annoying for sure. Paypal offers buyers protection which would protect you from the event that the goods ordered wasn't delivered. It does charge a higher fee however. If the merchant is trusted and accept both, I would go with Bitcoin, if not, it's PayPal for me.

In my opinion it just depends which one is easier and less expensive. Of course, that Bitcoin is my first option if it's accepted on the certain websites to pay for goods and services. Unfortunately sites like these are not that numerous. So in the end I still end up paying more with the PayPal!
Of course, day by day this keep changing and one day I believe that we will also be paying more with bitcoins than with PayPal!

PayPal is accepted by many online shopping websites and hence the obvious answer in PayPal. Bitcoins are rarely accepted but if there is an option to pay via bitcoins and the website is trusted to hold the BTC till the item is not shipped, I would use BTC. I haven't yet had this option and hence am a bit unaware of how does it actually work.

I am new in Bitcoin, so I prefer Paypal for now. Besides, currently Paypal is adopted by more clients than Bitcoin. When the time comes when Bitcoin is well adopted by merchandisers, I think I'll choose Bitcoin.

I do believe in PayPal when it comes to any type of online purchase and even transactions. The reason is that paypal has been in existence for quite sometime and they have security credential that are well established. However Bitcoins will come into action when I am doing a business deal that we let me get enough returns in terms of the bitcoins. There are these sweet deals that you never think twice and in such like occurrence, I never hesitate. It however varies depending on the individual and the things that drive you.

If a site accepts both of paypal and bitcoin I would rather paying with bitcoin of course because PayPal account required a lot of veriverification stuff and it is not easy in my country to get a visa to verify paypal

Well the thing is.. As a customer u normally want to use paypal for standard goods, just to be safe and be able to dispute and get ur money back in case the goods are not as u wish or didn't get delivered. But for any other kind of payments which do not have to be disputable i'd always use bitcoin

Whenever possible I tend to use bitcoin to pay online, if the retailer is trustworthy. I don't have too much against Paypal, but most of my use of them has been for receiving rather than spending.

when it comes to security I will go for paypal cause when you buy online and didn't get your money you can file a dispute to get your money back however when you pay bitcoin it is not reversible and when you get scammed theres no hope that they will return your money , but if you want fast transaction go for bitcoin , In every aspect there is pro and cons so learn to balance where to use paypal or bitcoin

Paypal is good to deal with the unknown merchants but bad due to its fee. On the other hand bitcoin has lower fee but due to irreversible transactions it is not good to shop on online shopping site (usually new one). So i prefer bitcoin to buy cheaper goods and also while paying to nearest shop.

if you are going to buy something from a large company then paypal and bitcoin both serve the same purpose. paypal won't be chargebacked, because paypal has agreements witht he said company. bitcoin cant be chargebacked either. but if you're sending money to a private person ( say someone you met on the forum), then paypal can be chargebacked while bitcoin cant. so i prefer bitcoin.

bitcoin, by i admit that i'm using paypal on website that i don't know, but bitcoin has the potential to surpass paypal, it's already very near that
Very near in what sense? Bitcoin is not even close to paypal. Paypal is used in far more platforms and sites than bitcoin, far far more, not only that but paypal it's also pretty safe, more than bitcoin. Comparing bitcoin to paypal is not good though, paypal is not a currency, bitcoin is, so in the end it doesn't make much sense to compare the two.
