I have to disagree with the people who think we need another exchange at the moment. This coin and project is still very new and the volume and trading is very natural on ccex. If we moved onto bittrex the bots would be going nuts and I think most of the volume would be faked. I think right now the best place for floz is ccex but when floz is older and more mature then I think we'll really need to focus on getting listed @ poloniex.
Just my 0.2 FLOZ.

I guess you are right. It's still soon.

Thinking how the coin could go forward, I made a little search about guerilla marketing and found ; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guerrilla_marketing

Guerrilla marketing is an advertisement strategy concept designed for small businesses to promote their products or services in an unconventional way with little budget to spend. This involves high energy and imagination focusing on grasping the attention of the public in more personal and memorable level. Some large companies use unconventional advertisement techniques, proclaiming to be guerrilla marketing but those companies will have larger budget and the brand is already visible. The main point of guerrilla marketing is that the activities are done exclusively on the streets or other public places, such as shopping centers, parks or beaches with maximum people access so as to attract a bigger audience.

Unlike typical public marketing campaigns that utilize billboards, guerrilla marketing involves the application of multiple techniques and practices in order to establish direct contact with the customers. One of the goals of this interaction is to cause an emotional reaction in the clients and the final goal of marketing is to get people to remember brands in a different way than they are used to . The technique involves from flyer distribution in public spaces to creating an operation at major event or festival mostly without directly connecting to the event but using the opportunity. The challenge with any guerrilla marketing campaign is to find the correct place and time to do the operation without getting involved in legal issues.

Ambient marketing
Ambient communication is a complex form of corporate communication that uses elements of the environment, including nearly every available physical surface, to convey messages that elicit customer engagement. It is a compile of intelligence, flexibility and effective use of the atmosphere.

Ambush marketing
Ambush marketing is a form of associative marketing, utilized by an organization to capitalize upon the awareness, attention, goodwill, and other benefits, generated by having an association with an event or property, without that organization having an official or direct connection to that event or property. Essentially, a company or a product seeks to ride on the publicity value of a major event without having contributed to the financing of the event through sponsorship.

It is typically seen at major events where rivals of official sponsors use creative and sometimes covert tactics to build an association with the event and increase awareness for their brands. For example, Nike during the 2012 London Olympics, Nike created ‘find your Greatness’ spots where they featured athletes from several locations called London (but without showing the real London or referring to the Olympic games) which helped in building a strong association between London Olympics and Nike.

Stealth marketing
Stealth marketing is a deliberate act of entering, operating in, or exiting a market in a furtive, secretive or imperceptible manner, or an attempt to do so. People get involved with the product without them actually knowing that they are the part of advertisement campaign. This needs to be implemented with uttermost covertness because if the participants become aware of the campaign, it will have a negative effect on the brand resulting in ethical doubts about its use.

Viral marketing
Viral marketing describes any strategy that encourages individuals to pass on a marketing message to others, creating the potential for exponential growth in the message’s exposure and influence. Like viruses, such strategies take advantage of rapid multiplication to explode the message to thousands, to millions. Off the Internet, viral marketing has been referred to as “word-of-mouth,” “creating a buzz,” “leveraging the media,” “network marketing.” But on the Internet, for better or worse, it’s called “viral marketing.”[8]

Street marketing
According to Marcel Saucet and Bernard Cova, street marketing can be used as a general term encompassing six principal types of activities:

Distribution of flyers or products

This activity is more traditional and the most common form of street marketing employed by brands.

Product animations

This form of operation consists of personalizing a high-traffic space using brand imagery. The idea is to create a micro-universe in order to promote a new product or service.

Human animations
The goal of such actions is to create a space in which the brand’s message is communicated through human activity.

Road shows
This form of mobile presentation is based on the development of means of transport: Taxi, bike, Segway, etc.

Uncovered actions
These activities involve the customization of street elements.

Event actions
These activities take the form of spectacles, such as flash mobs or contests. The idea is to promote a product, service or brand value through organization of a public event.

Presence marketing
This is a guerrilla marketing type that goes along the same lines as ambient marketing. Products are to maintain a constant presence through product placements, street ads, stalls at local festivals and markets.

Grassroots marketing
Grassroots campaigns focus on gaining customers one-by-one rather than a large portion of consumers, Building relationships, and enhancing a firm's reputation and popularity.

So..from my opinion, basically most of the work done in guerilla marketing are done in the ''streets''.

We are into crypto, so I guess the ''streets'' could be Internet in general.

From the differents types of available marketing types, I think Floz coin could use a mix of Ambient, Viral and Grassroot marketing.

The weed energy drink and inwallet game will help greatly to bring the coin more viral to ease the awareness around of the Ambient and Grassroot marketing.

Thus far, competition is hard and there is a lot ( too much ) other crypto coins available, but nothing impossible.

Making a website, blogs, getting some audiences will sure help. If anyone has some internet skills, Floz coin can be a good starting opportunity.

Thunderclap could be used before the release of the ingame wallets, market or energy drinks. ; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunderclap_(website)

Update

Good evening everyone. Back again with another short update for our followers and community. As everyone knows, we are in the thick of the holiday season. Most of us have been spending time with our loved ones, making & cherishing memories, and eating lots of great food, but that's all about to come to an end. Tomorrow is new year's eve and then 2016 will be upon us. A year for innovation, branding, community building and growth. Not only for Floz the brand but also for FLOZ the crypto, and of course for Bitcoin as well. We are all about to witness the next coming of Bitcoin, which by default will mean the next coming for crypto in general. Plenty of new people will be joining our world for the first time and we suspect that many old crypto enthusiasts will be returning as bitcoin continues to grow both in value and consumer adoption.

We believe that 2016 will be the single most important year crypto has yet to see, and we know that because of this we will be able to catch some of these waves and be propelled into the spotlight.
It's not just Bitcoin and crypto that will be exploding in 2016. In the coming year, legal marijuana is set to explode over North America. Canada is in the process of legalizing recreational use of cannabis and many states will be going to the polls to vote on recreational cannabis use. We think, in general, that by the end of 2016 legal weed will be available in at least 50% of USA and all over Canada. And the good news is we will all be a part of this, and watch it grow together.

Now on to some business.

Our road map has been slightly changed over the last few weeks. The production of our drink, that was slated to be available in March of 2016, has been pushed up drastically, and we are hoping to receive our first cases before the end of January. As soon as we have the drinks in hand we will start a small campaign on the forum to get the brand out. More importantly, with the help of a medicinal marijuana provider, we will be able to supply our product in at least 2 states, and all over Canada!

As for the still unnamed in-wallet growing game, our development team has been hard at work getting the base code ready. While the game is almost finished, it is not up to par with our standards. We feel the layout is a bit too "busy", so we will be spending the first few weeks of January going back to the drawing board to see how we can cleanup the game ui and make the process more enjoyable and interactive for the gamer & grower in all of us.

In closing, we want to thank everyone who has supported us through our first baby steps. This process is not easy, but with the kind and encouraging words posted by the many members on the forum, it's made much easier.
Yesterday, there was an issue regarding our twitter campaign promotions, where people who had been promised some payments ended up getting scammed by a very trusted escrow providing member (Master P) on this forum, either due to him selling his account or just plain fraud. We want to take this moment to apologize to all those forum members for the issues they had encountered, and we thank you all for your patience while the team was figuring out how to handle the situation. We hope our solution was amicable for everyone.

We wish everyone a safe and happy new years eve celebration and we look forward to starting the new year and getting back to business.
Have fun everyone.

I think floz has something here greater then guerrilla marketing going for it. It has weed. And a real world weed drink coming out.
I think we need slow and steady growth over an extended period of time. That's the best way we can grow but I do agree that guerrilla marketing is a great tactic to get brand awareness and we should consider any and all options.

I'm prepared to buy 1000 stickers with the drink labeling and slap them in every bus stop, metro station, train station, phone booth, park bench, street light post ect I can find if that will help. That's some street marketing that will get the masses to see it. If we all did that with 1000 stickers we could probably have 50K stickers promoting floz coin or drink all over the world.
Maybe the devs can even set aside a fund for that. How much can 50K stickers possibly cost?

But I think you're on the right track here. There is only so much the devs can do. We as a community need to do our part to help build floz to the brand we hope it will be.

Once we pass 2K we'll never see it again. He's got no choice but to start buying.

Either the coin is taking value, or it is another pump.

Edit ; Still buying anyway, converting S4 and S5 btc mining rewards to floz.
