cryptsy answers:
Thank you for contacting us about this issue.
I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We are experiencing a delay when it comes to processing BTC LTC and BTCD withdrawal transactions. Heard so many similar SCAM accusation against CRYPTSY..
First of all i suggest you that dont think that they will ever pay you..
Secondly i would suggest u that go to scam accusations section u can find so many scam reports on this site , so u can either put your comment in scam accusations thread..
There are so many modern growing sites why u went for cryptsy ?
Btw now i think u might have learnt a lesson after getting scammed !

See the other topic, there's a guy who been waiting for about 5 days for the withdrawal and it's still pending Sad
Expect the same or longer for your case.
I heard that if you exchange your BTC to DOGE it would withdraw instantly Wink
Try to do it and then you can exchange the DOGE back to BTC at another exchange Smiley

Did you contact their support team? did they answer your query?

I think you will get best answer from their support team than on this forum. So you first contact them and see whether they have any genuine answer for this delay. If not try to exchange with some currency which you can withdraw immediacy. Good luck to you.

Salinism posts his reply from Cryptsy support and Linuld responds with "Duuuhhhh. Uh, maybe you should contact Cryptsy support. Duhhhhhhh."  The number of absolute blithering morons on this rock is truly disturbing.

Although I am not a fan of online holdings, these things do happen.  Contact them and follow the TX.  It may just be a sluggish TX.

Perhaps you should try learning about Crypto scams and what Cryptsy is doing right now.

Report away. My posts are on the topic of this thread. If you do not like my style, too bad. If you want to keep using Cryptsy, by all means, do. I am simply trying to use some common sense regarding their operation to make people think about what they are doing regarding them, and you are spouting naive advice that could cause people to get taken by what is an obvious meltdown of a shady Crypto Exchange.

@moronatis, of you read OP more careful, you will discover amazing thing that OP already contacted support. I suggest you to not just make worthless sig spam cause that will lead to ban. You are not only one in this thread doing that so it is becoming annoying. I also had problems with Craptsy and their support is anyway worthless.

Cryptsy is falling apart. People say that they are even under federal investigation! I wish you luck with your deposit and I hope you will have you credited. I for sure wouldn't even hold a dead cat on Cryptsy!

If you are really desperate, I would write them to cancel my withdrawal. Then I would exchange for the alts that are withdrawing without any problems. I have heard there are few alts like this that are being processed instantly!

Something s really wrong with them. Lots of people re having BTC withdrawal issues for the last 2 weeks or so. Doge option works but still lose about 5% on fees and price discrepancies cause DOGE price is the highest  on Cryptsy.

Perhaps they're borrowing your coin to pay other withdrawal requests?  I'd guess, if that were the case, you'll get your coin after some other "investor" adds coin to the "exchange"...

It's getting a ponzi now. They take so long to accept/review withdrawals that it could be the case they are waiting for deposits.
I lost all my confidence after they messed up with their new site and the new featured called a gigantice withdrawal fee.

It went downhill since their new website. New features which did not work (getting negative.. WTF)>

Then more price increases and more bogus altoins. There's no innovation and so people left them.

People need to get the heck out of there by any means necessary! We all know how this will end it's just a question how much of the other people's money will they pull down with them?

If you guys are smart, anyone with the funds on Cryptsy would find a way to get them out of there!

Could we keep this thread current? make it a rally point? I find that, though concerns are being expressed on ANN threads, there isn't an up-to-date thread detailing events.

Uno, for example, is trading 25% over its mark on Cryptsy. Dnotes is also lopsided.

And does anyone know if https://www.bitebi9.com is a Cryptsy enterprise?

From what I have heard craptsy is basically insolvent and are gearing up to either close or pull a mt.gox.

If you have funds in there I feel sorry for you but it's unlikely you will be able to get them out.. It's a mad scramble to get funds out and I think they don't actually have the BTC that they claim they have and thus it's leading to withdrawal issues.

Please avoid craptsy and good luck on getting your coins out sir.. Hopefully things go well for you but I wouldn't bank on it. :/

People, we know, Crypts s shit. Half of wallets re down. There s no point opening 17 threads about it. Stop using them, switch to Polo/Bittrex/Cryptopia or whatever you use.

Cryptsy is collapsing dudes. It makes no sense to have your coins there. wallets are down, support is slow and then offcourse every withdrawal is reviewed.
It's time to move on if you are still on cryptsy.

Cryptsy chat is an unhappy spot at this second. 80 wallets 'under maintenance,' not including Bitcoin and Litecoin

Ok guys, im pretty sure many members here have told you to withdraw from there ASAP
But it seems like some people didn't and put their faith on cryptsy or some of you didn't read the news often Sad
If i were you i would be ready for the worst Wink

A possible solution : turn your btc to doge or any altcoin available then transfer it to another exchange and turn it back to btc Wink

Ok guys

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

If you use this method, your probably lose around 2-5% of your worth but at least you get it without any hassle. The downside would be you would lose all which is much worse.
I withdraw my coins after the hype, now i got some altcoins which i withdraw somewhere next weke.

It is just ridiclous. Cryptsy having technical issues with btc/ltc/doge and us users having to wait for our OWN money.
This issues are taking weeks already, did their developers bailed out already?

More and more people are complaining now about cryptsy. I think it is the time to leave cryptsy. Clearly they don't believe fixing their wallets ia a priority.
Nor do they think helping customers is a mandatory thing to do..

Its better to lose some of your coins to alt trading rather than lost all of them completely Sad

I just recently started having issues with cryptsy. Up untill now I've been a big fan of their service (except the notoriously high withdrawl fees).
However, I'm starting to get quite upset with the slow/stopped withdrawls and lack of comment from vern. My personal request date is 2015-12-11 11:15:21, however i know some have been waiting 7-9 days. Hopefully we dont have another GOX issue here..... BTC may have a tough time recovering if thats the case.

Morning, I8nit3. We were talking yesterday about how Cryptsy's collapse might will affect cryptos -- should be okay. Adoption is now mainly being driven (IMHO) by global economic woes, which should over-ride the 'in-house shock' of an exchange going down.

These days everybody is accusing Cryptsy for being a scammy exchange. I for myself have had a lot of issues since I start to use them, but they always solved them. But it looks like there a lot of people compplaining 'bout them:

Seems not. Still got around eighty wallets locked off.

You guys might find this resource interesting. (I know the coiner who did the work. He's very thorough.)

The Cryptsy has died officially. It lost 13,000 coins in 2014 and did not tell the truth to the users. There should be certain justice done to the operator of Cryptsy.

I just returned after a few days and not much has changed.

I think it's hard to believe they encountered such big problems all at a time.

To me cryptsy got into some shady business with Josh Garza and now it backfired on them.

But only US customers can file the class lawsuit, not other international customers. So International customers will lose out.

In the comments of this news story about the Cryptsy lawsuit it suggests that international customers could try using a company called Atradius to try to collect for failure to deliver goods. I don't know whether that would work for a bankrupt company but it could be worth investigating.

Quote
That is a tough one. I suggest going through an international collection agency like Atradius. They have a presence in over 25 countries. File a collection notice of failure to deliver goods or provide refund. Take snapshots of your Cryptsy account ASAP and all correspondence (tickets)

Good things come to those who waits  Cheesy, bought doge at creepshit at 49 and .... Dogecoin is going up like crazy, all of the waiting time has done nicely.
Good luck everyone!

You are just lucky. BigVern did not know the Doge price will rise. Otheriwise he would not let you withdraw.
