I have decided a quote that I made in this thread was more respectable in terms of getting my point across. In the original OP, I talked about a user that was constantly talking about Lauda and I basically wanted him to stop. This quote sums it up:

We are a tech savvy forum so respectfully, we are intelligent enough to decide for ourselves if we want to associate ourselves with another person. Talking about others who actually don't have anything to do with the way you live your life will just create unprofessional drama such as people feeling offended or people getting into unneccessary arguments. For people so intelligent as us, we are always questioning why sites like this are the laughing stock of the entire internet. Look around you. Scamming, cyberbullying, and so much other negative activity is happening. Bitcoin doesn't have that many chances of survival, so we're going to have to come together as a family and work hard to fight for our currency and our overall reputation. We can't do that if we're diligently trying to tear each other's reputations down inside of Bitcoin. One more thing I wanna say quick...

I don't know too much about what everyone is personally going through, but...I do know that if there's any kind of universal way of making someone feel like they can relate to another human being...it's definitely money. The reality that I learned is that bills being paid are the key to living a physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy lifestyle. If we can't make that without struggling, then we're always going to be unhealthy one way or another. It wouldn't matter if we had money to put a roof over our heads, or a bed to sleep in if you're never even home to be under that roof or sleep in that bed because you're always working to pay for it. It's very ironic. If we're constantly working to make that happen, that's not living. That's almost like dying. Bitcoin could change that. We have to work together to find a way to get the price to stop dropping. At this point, years are passing us by and we still haven't figured out a way to keep the price growing and not dropping. People just seem to be more concerned about things that really never mattered. People here and everywhere else that are affiliated with the cryptocurrency are more focused on tearing down alleged scammers. I'm not against that at all. That's why we have the trust system, and I'm fine with it. What I'm not fine with is the fact that we're spending too much time with that. Sometimes I see 10 paragraph long accusations. Why spend 2 hours tearing someone down when you can spend two minutes putting down your thoughts on a trust rate comment, then spend the other hour and 58 minutes working on a Bitcoin price increasing project? I do not understand.

Stop wasting time. Also, I'm not saying a forum is reliant for the success of Bitcoin. I'm just saying that a better reputation here would probably help Bitcoin a small bit and not hinder it.

Yes I agree. The Scam Accusations forum is filled with dramas everyday if not every hour. The (still small) community of Bitcoin should come together and build a better and greater Bitcoin community. We should help each other out such as mining advice and buying advice but we should not go against each other. This may look like censorship (to others not using Bitcoin) but we are doing it to help the Bitcoin community.

There's an entire forum on this website dedicated to talking about other users to bring attention to possible scamming a user might be involved with. For me personally, I don't feel that forum or making posts on other users gives any kind of necessity, because we already have the option of making commentary on a user on their trust rank page, so it doesn't make sense to me. It really just seems like an outlet for people to get harassed. I feel as though the site would look more professional if we just canceled that entire forum.

People these days. Am I right. Why do we have to do this to each other? We should all come together to make a stronger and happier Bitcoin community. Stop campaigning against each other and instead join forces.

Tearing each other down is not how we're going to get a price increase, so let's come together as family. Don't campaign against others. Campaign for Bitcoin.

Hey people of BitcoinTalk. I am here to talk about people constantly talking about OTHER PEOPLE on the site. I normally don't post threads in the reputation forum, or namedrop other users but I honestly think it's about time that this new rule gets established. Some newb named "Fwdxlsh" keeps posting about other users and their contradictions. I can't take this anymore. As much as I appreciated them reposting proof that codishmumu and I are nothing more than business partners, I do not appreciate them posting all over the forums in regards to people posting contradictions. I can easily tell he's trying to stick up for the frequent off-topic posters of BitcoinTalk (like codishmumu), but does he have to do it while posting evidence that people like Lauda are posting contradictions? Guess what? ALL humans beings are flawed. It doesn't matter if you're a doctor, a lawyer, a teacher, or a staff member at Bitcointalk.lame! Yes I see Lauda's contradictions, but it's not like I'm going to make it such a big deal. If I ever get a chance to appeal codishmumu's ban to theymos, it's not like I'm going to throw someone under the bus and be like "Oh yeah, Lauda said this". It's just so shady. I don't even want to be around you because I am afraid of making a small contradiction for you to blow it up on a billboard for everyone to see.



With that being said in regards to codishmumu's idea on people simply not talking about people and leaving the talking about others on their trust rank page, I fully support it. The end.

Don't worry kiddo. I'm just joking with you but on a serious note, that was a demonstration on why we shouldn't be talking about other members. It just causes unneeded drama. If we really want to make this site look respectable, we need to limit discussing other users to just their trust rank page. We don't need to start making campaigns on why the community shouldn't associate with another user. Respectively, I am sure we are smart enough to decide for ourselves.

I had placed that user on my ignore list a while ago for the many accusations made against them, so I cannot see their advice for OP.


 Even though I am somewhat insulted by this post, I do see where OP is coming from and I do apologize for my behavior. I wasn't trying to start drama though, which OP failed to see. I am disappointed but if OP's idea is placed into affect, it'd probably be for the best.

If someone does something wrong then they deserve to be called out on it. By your logic, the Scam Accusations section should be closed because of users talking about other users.
