question for hardcore gamblers
when you have btc you mostly spend all on gambling and you are addicted how so when you dont have btc you dont miss gambling?
i know that i gamble for fun (i dont care too much of my money so i can afford to lose 10,50,100$) so why when you have btc you go to gamble even tho you know you will most likely lose ?
does this question have any sence to you? if not ill just lock topic im just interested how people when have btc they are addicted and when they dont have gambling addiction is not comming out.?

i understand your question. self control is an extremely tough thing for humans to deal with, especially because we get so emotional when it comes to gambling. . if you are like this, and know you will blow any money you have the first chance you get, than your best bet is to slowly put away money in an account that could not be touched for many years.

Yeah make sure you divide your coins in 3 wallets. 1 for savings/trading, 1 for buying and 1 for gambling.

Make sure to never touch any wallet for the goal you created it for.

I usually turn fiat to btc as much as possible and then separate the ones im going to use for gambling.

I understand the logic but that's like an alcoholic trying to hide the booze.  It just doesn't work for long.  The best bet is total abstinence.

That's the spirit of gambling. I remember times I lost thousands of dollars but I recover with my wage. Then I learn how to play responsible.

Luck you, i always try to set a limit before every game or round of games. If I am broke, i just stop and go listen to some music

Why luck? I lost a lot of money from gambling. Then I realised it's not good for my pocket and my health.

If you plan to buy something you need in the future and you lose all your cash because you can't control yourself, it must be real serious. You should at least find a strategy to win a game or maybe chose a safer game like betting on sports where you get a higher chance of wining when betting to a better athlete. Or better yet cash out the moment you receive BTC.

When I was a gambling addict everytime I used to spam faucets everytime I had no money until money from other sources would arrive. We all know it's a really bad feeling when you lose everything and you would think that would make most people stop gambling but it's the same thing that happens with alcohol, you know when you say: Yeah im not going to drink anymore after a hangover and after a week you are drinking again, this is the same shit.

I know if i broke one time this law and use bitcoins from one of the others wallets i couldn't stop it and i will do another time. I use different wallets and only one hot wallet used for gambling, this wallet has bits from faucets, signature campaigns and other works.

this seems like a nice way to keep you wasting your own money on gambling.
