Greece is a great tourists destination in Europe. Other than that hasn't contributed much for the prosperity of the EU.

I see that EUR has been dropped recently and it is near to have the same value as dollar, the crisis affects directly the economy of europe countries and i think a little bit the bitcoin price.

Yeah. What has happened to the EUR. It has dropped a lot now. What crisis is going on?

Maybe Europe is now in crisis, but just give them a few years and the economy will be fine again.
Is like the other years in the pas the economy was also bad.

Wow!
Do you really believe what you're saying?
Not Europe is the problem. The EU is the problem! This thing will collapse sooner or later.I'd guess sooner.
We are already at a point where is not way back too good old or better times. Not for the folk, the average joes.
What is going on right now, what we see now is one last big deep breath and then this EU will die!
The EU is indeed the problem, not that I think the concept of the EU itself is bad, but the current form has been proven to be overly bureaucratic and inefficient.
I do think you're exaggerating though, I believe things will get fixed or otherwise they will see EU members leave.

Europe has been completely shaken by the huge siege. I think that that is one of the main factors of their economy turning to crap.

It took hundreds of years, lives, hard work, toil and trouble for democracies to get where they are today and it takes just a few years for a
few politicians in said countries to undo everything and take them back to mediaeval times.

They give away their money, they do nothing about religions, culture and people that threaten their very existence and ban anyone for disagreeing.
They have had enough.

I've have to agree on this. Their culture it different then mainstream Europe. That's why they got problems in the first place. Though greece alone is not the problem, some other Eu coutnries got quite some debt too. Now we got some lunatic politicians who push their own agenda. So it was getting worse, but now with the extra cost for housing, education for refugees (which is good in a way, but also bad, since they good that also in neigbour countries), problems are getting way worser..

Agree on this, but this is a trend we see both in Europe and North America.

This is the Economics forum section. Do your advertisement in the Services Announcement section instead of spamming this discussion.

Btw. there are dozens of services within to EU to exchange Euro for Bitcoin via SEPA easily.

Better sell all your EUR for BTC to hedge against this crash then.. That should be good for the price of BTC, imagine if everyone in Europe got scared of the Euro and bought BTC.

It is very convenient for EU residents to buy BTC with Euro.
They can make a deposit of any amount into Gatecoin Exchange (https://gatecoin.com) using SEPA transfer for FREE!

And if you register on Gatecoin using this link, you can get US$10 bonus after your first cash deposit:

It hasn't reached the dollar yet. If it will it should be a clear sign that the union is dying.

The exchange rate has been dropped again but this is a sign that the currency of europe union is not good, maybe the Greece crisis affected directly the value of one euro.

It's been going downhill for a while:

The difference is not as large as it used to be:

1 EUR = 1.08732 USD
1 USD = 0.919691 EUR

I wonder if 1 EUR will be worth less than 1 USD in some years..
Great that you share with us this graph, we can see how much has been decreased the value of EUR, it will be worth less than 1USD soon in few years max.

Euro devaluation is to increase exports and stimulate internal economy, Canada did the same thing with great results.

The greatest good for the greatest number.
We have to assume that governments will work on that principle.

This graph shows only the development of 1 year. Take a 10 years graph and you will see that 1 Euro valued over $1,60 in 2008/2009. This means the Euro have lost over 50% of its value within a couple of years. And I predict it will fall under parity soon.

I see that EUR has been dropped recently and it is near to have the same value as dollar, the crisis affects directly the economy of europe countries and i think a little bit the bitcoin price.

You are 100% correct, when you blame the Northern European Union nations (especially Sweden and Germany) for the recent migrant crisis. But at the same time, you have to remember that for the past 20 years or so, the Northern nations have been subsidizing the Southern (Greece, Portugal, Spein.etc) and the Eastern (Poland, Romania, Bulgaria.etc) members. So it is only natural that they are having the maximum policy making powers.
