I've found 9561 and 3338 but am unsure which is which?  (Nothing in the OP either)


In other news, long term supporter Nerull was auto-banned at the start of February, 2021.  Does anyone know why?

@Timelord2067: I believe the standard P2P port is 9560 and according a quick grep through the sources 9561 is the default rpc port (I have it set to that explicitly in the conf but can't remember why I did that).

This is correct.

You needed to set it explicitly because of a bug. That bug was fixed in either 15.2.1 or 15.2.2.

Just thought I'd let you know the updated Android Wallet has stopped polling fiat prices and just shows the SXC balance (but everything else seems to be working).

Just thought I'd let you know the updated Android Wallet has stopped polling fiat prices and just shows the SXC balance (but everything else seems to be working).

The price polling issue seems to have rectified itself after I sent a couple of hundred SXC to my Android Wallet.

The price polling issue seems to have rectified itself after I sent a couple of hundred SXC to my Android Wallet.

I've had another report that the fiat prices were not being pulled (sometimes). I'm looking into it.

You really should refer to the OP for the relevant information.  In any event, Coin Gecko lists the Frei Exchange if you follow this link: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/sexcoin#markets you should be able to get some of the information you are looking for.

currently sexcoin is still only supported by one exchange, namely Freiexchange and I see that the price movement of sexcoin in this market is quite stable and the volume of transactions that occur is still very small, I myself have never traded on the exchange so I don't dare to suggest You have to make transactions in that market, but for sure the sexcoin team must immediately lobby other market exchangers that are indeed more famous and trusted by today's traders because if you only rely on Freiexchange exchanges, of course, the development of sexcoin will only run in place or even worse this coin will abandoned by the community.

Our Dev is lavajumper and as you can see he posted just the other day.  As to exchanges - interesting.  No one would have expected CoinEX, Cryptsy, Cryptopia, Trade Satoshi or Live Coin dot net (have I missed any?) to have all been hacked.  A couple of smaller exchanges closed one in the Netherlands, not sure where the others were located.  Some exchanges such as Bleutrade listed (for a fee) then delisted - without warning - then there's Yobit which is deliberately trading on an incorrect chain - they are banned here in this forum.

So the question I have for you is "How many times do the Dev Team put their hands in their pockets and pay to list *any* coin, not just SexCoin and have to exchange's owner walk away with the proceeds ( @captainfuture - CoinEX / @BigVern - Cryptsy ) get hacked ( Cryptopia, Trade Satoshi, Bleutrade) , pull the plug on the coin ( Bleutrade) or any other reason before the Dev Team says "Enough is enough!" ??

Listing on two or three exchanges is good.  In the meantime, it's time to alert the masses that SexCoin can be traded on FreiExchange:

you won't get other exchanges to list a coin if it doen't have any trades on the ones that it's already listed on.

... but if you want to get SexCoin listed on another exchange, I for one will welcome the news.

I saw their official website but there was no latest news posted by the team and their team didn't seem to show real identity so it was very difficult to get the latest information from the sexcoin team, and it looks like this sexcoin project has long been abandoned by their team because they don't exist the latest tweet at all on their twitter, the last tweet was done 3 years ago in 2018, if you look at the current condition of the sexcoin project, my advice for you is dont try to invest in their coins ..... !!

Yes, I lost quite a bit although it wasn't worth that much at the time. It was close to 2,000 Dash I think and some BTC and some other crappy alt coins. Yeah, looking back that was a punch in the face. I even remember trading SXC back then! And I also remember it had quite the pump for some time and I did well on that one. I think I traded the SXC/LTC pair back at the time. Was a lot of fun although Cryptsy sucked even from a technical standpoint. Permanent glitches in the order book and so on and so forth, you probably know what I am talking about!

Which exchanges have you approached to have SexCoin listed on?  What were their listing fees?

By your own admission you're not even willing to try using freiexchange.com which can only mean you are either HODLing talking up the price so you can dump at a much better price, or, you are what exactly?

In any event, SexCoin is listed on Coin Market Cap (and always has been).
