It's nice to see all highly experienced guys contributing on a single project to get the best possible experience for gambler's and i hope it happens as intended .
The altcoin support is really a nice implementation but i honestly feel that Doog and Nico should also get in it .

agree that is what we thought when the auction of MP started. this would guarantee in our opinion a big success of MP but it looks like it is a dream Sad(

I doubt that doog would want to take a piece of this thing due to the legal issue which is why he is switching his site to clams while I do agree that Nico is an outstanding security dev that should take a part in the team however The current team should be well enough to handle MP

well , it doesn't matters how good the team is or they are able to handle that app or not but one sure thing is it's lacking the best and honest bictointalk  Dev's/expert's .However, ranlo and dean are also some popular forum profile's but majority of the team being unpopular could be a risk to high roller's.

I dont think that its matter alot even if the rest of the team is not popular or even never post in bitcointalk. I do think Ryan has made some good research for the team capabilities and that is why he sold it to them and not to the other team

Yes , all in all it is about ryan's  choice . Still if people are gambling with pretty nice amount of bitcoins they would'nt be as comfortable as they would be on PD or JD cause the owners carry their honesty by paying thousands of coins when they had to .
However , nothing is perfect in the beginning and let's see what they provide to the gambling community.

It sounds as if you are making changes to Bet King that could potentially risk the funds of the investors - ie. you're switching to the MoneyPot model. That includes exposing your investors' coins to games with less than 1% house edge, which they didn't sign up for. It would be better in my opinion to require the investors to withdraw from the existing site and deposit to the new one. That way you are sure that they consent to the changes you are making.

Actually with they would have to withdraw and redeposit using the Money Pot account system.

BetKing.io has been running for over 2 and a half years (as pocketrocketscasino.eu) and has paid out many thousands of Bitcoin, there's been 35,000 Bitcoin withdrawn in the last year.
We've had players bet hundreds of Bitcoin at a time, up to 1300, and have had many withdrawals over 500, some over 1000.
We've had the biggest Bitcoin investor bankroll for over a year, 5000 at peak, currently 3000.

I think it's unfair to say it's not as trustworthy as PD (considering we look after more player funds at any time than PD) or JD.

Keep in mind Dooglus was new at some point. Nico was new at some point. Everyone had their start and proved themselves. We will do the same, Smiley.

Nobody can answer that. Returns are based on volume + player losses. Even from today to tomorrow nobody knows. For reference, I went from +13% in MP to -9% in a one-week period before. Variance.

OK. When you said:

3000 Bitcoin of the funds are from my current investors

it sounded like you were moving your current investors coins over to moneypot without asking them. I don't see how else you can justify making that claim.

I think it's unfair to say it's not as trustworthy as PD (considering we look after more player funds at any time than PD) or JD.

If you're measuring trustworthiness by number of Bitcoins held, biggest bets, volume, profit, or any other similar measure (and that does appear to be what you're doing) then I don't think betking's stats come anywhere near to Just-Dice's.

are you saying that there is no 100% bullet proof solution to secure the investors coins? IMO this would surprise many investors because many investors believe that their only risk is the person they trust their coins/investment will run away with the coins

I'm not saying there's no solution, but as far as I know nobody has implemented a solution. Currently Ryan is in the position of being able to win on your MP app whenever he wants to. He knows the server seed, so knows the outcome of each bet before it happens. This is something investors need to take into account when deciding which bankroll to invest in.

(As for possible solutions, you can imagine a system where three different people ran servers, each of which had their own server seed, and each bet had to pass through all three servers to generate the roll. That way the only way to cheat investors would be if all three people colluded.)

I understand your point but IMO the investors could divest before their coins are moved to MP or immediately after it is moved to MP or am I wrong?

Only if they knew about the switchover. There are quite a few people who still didn't withdraw their BTC from the JD bankroll, 18 months after the site shut down. Some investors just like to "invest and forget". But it turns out that Dean isn't moving the 3000 BTC over from BK to MP after all - he's going to have the investors withdraw from BK and deposit to MP, so the point is moot.

how could all of this harm the app owners? at what risk are they?

I wasn't meaning to cast any aspersions. I've had run-ins with Dean in the past, but he seems trustworthy enough. I don't know how much of a team player he is, but I'm in no position to criticize on that score either.

No one is disputing that Just-Dice ran the largest site accepting a public bankroll, but ever since Just-Dice decided to switch to clams (which is not for legal purposes, in the eyes of the law BTC is the same as CLAM), Bet King (PRC) has been the largest site accepting user investments. As to the questions about Dean, it is important for people to note that the only "issues" regarding him are that certain people in the community (mainly other casino owners) do not like him.

As Ranlo said earlier, this thread is not intended to be a place for FUD/trolling. If you have any questions/concerns please send us a message and we will be glad to assist.

That isn't true. I don't dislike him. The issues I had with him weren't personal at all.

I understand that you have made your decision to get into business with Dean and give him control of all your (future) investors' coins. But that doesn't mean you need to rewrite history and pretend that there have never been any issues with him other than "people not liking him". To do so seems disingenuous to me.

could you please name those trolls because I did not see any but it could well be that I don't know who a troll is

I agree that we should have a place to talk to you guys = the new team/buyer at another place but this place should IMO be established by you like Ryan did it with inviting us to slack group.

and I disagree that each app owner will message you guys and discuss matters that are interesting for all app owners. that is exactly when I mentioned that no app owner should get a preferred treatment. yes I understand if there are private or internal questions regarding an app that would not be for all ears.

Hey Dooglus, we weren't targeting that comment at you, apologies if you took it that way. Bet King has kept the funds of its users safe for a couple of years now, we have full faith in Dean and are excited for the future.

naming trolls in this thread is not the purpose of this thread? agree but you called some user trolls and I would like to know who those trolls are if there are any

if this is a group account that means that one of the group member is answering under this nick but it could also be that any other group member is answering and therefore it would be nice and polite if I know with whom of the group I am right now talking or are you playing a hide and seek game here. I hope you understand my point

how comes that you decided for a skype group? slack or any other similar option like slack is IMO much better than skype and  myself I am not using skype and that would mean that I am out of any group discussion Sad

I believe the team account is right in that we're getting a little side tracked in this thread.

It is of my personal opinion that Dean is a completely trustworthy person and I have no reason to believe that the funds are anything but secure in his hands. I am aware of some of the tension between him and a select few bitcointalk users.  I make no judgements of him outside of our business dealings in which he's always maintained class and composure.

I believe that his good standing record with PocketRocketsCasino puts him on the same level (not above or below) as other trusted major dice site operators and that there is no direct competition or ill will against any of the other sites.

My only hope is that the words in this thread are not misconstrued.  Hypothetical situations, assumptions, and 'what-ifs' tend to steer away from facts and viable information -- I believe as a respectable community, we can move past these.

Many members have attested to the credibility of Dean himself, including the highly respected Dooglus and I believe that the readers can take these pieces of information to gather an informed decision on whether or not Dean and the Moneypot Team have the highest regard for security, fairness, and equality for all.

I'm sure the Moneypot team is happy to address any valid questions and concerns here in the thread, and leave personal hearsay or opinions to personal messages so that everyone can receive clear and concise answers in a suitable form.

Cheers Smiley

You should consider adding Florincoin - FLO, Vericoin - VRC Hyperstacke - HYP and Fluttercoin - FLT

What would that give them? As you can see that most of those altcoins are dropping in value. Besides those coins don't provide a decent amount of players
