You should consider adding Florincoin - FLO, Vericoin - VRC Hyperstacke - HYP and Fluttercoin - FLT

What would that give them? As you can see that most of those altcoins are dropping in value. Besides those coins don't provide a decent amount of players

On this note, as of right now, we had a discussion about altcoins and are currently putting them on the back burner. As it is, there's little value to adding them, but a lot of overhead with regards to their addition (development, security, processing, etc.). That said, it doesn't mean that it'll never happen, just isn't on the to-do list at this moment.

2-of-3 multisig doesn't help you if the holder of the server seeds is corrupt because he can use the server seeds to win the majority of the bankroll and then the other multisig key holders have no choice but to allow him to withdraw the coins.

Ultimately, the server "knows" what rolls are coming up, and so the guy with access to the server also knows, and can abuse that knowledge. It's crucial that the investors trust everyone with server access.

are you saying that there is no 100% bullet proof solution to secure the investors coins? IMO this would surprise many investors because many investors believe that their only risk is the person they trust their coins/investment will run away with the coins

The tl;dr to this is really just that... if you don't trust the person running a business, don't invest in it. Gambling or not. Virtual or B&M. Stock or bond. Loan or raffle. It doesn't matter what it is -- either you trust the person running it or you don't. Owners ALWAYS have access to everything. If they didn't, they wouldn't be able to control anything.

After consideration, we had different opinions about the future of MP, its expansion going into the short- and long-term future, and what we want to bring to the table for players and apps alike.

Here's an idea - how about you guys input a sort of loyalty system. In the source code, maybe you can make a section where you can make multiple house edges. So maybe you start with 0.5% house edge, and each consecutive day you bet 100+ bits, the house edge decreased by 0.05, until it caps at 0.01%.

to be frank we were not semi but full excited to get a bankroll of 3k and a big new player group etc

and now we are not semi but full disappointed after the big announcement that Dean will bring not in his part and he is out of the game

it is like parents are promising their children a very very big Christmas gift and then very subdued canceling the big gift event. so it should not be a surprise that the children will be very disappointed and sad

now as Dean is out of the game when will the journey start?

We won't have control for ~1.5 weeks.

And the old API will be in use but we've noted things for expansion as well (based on requests app devs. have made). That said, our original focus is getting things up to where they were. Then we focus on additions.

They trust, however, that I wouldn't be associated with a bad group, therefore, by nature of me being part of it, they have confidence. And while I would normally say it's not anyone's business what our discussions were related to, I'll be transparent: it was in regards to the auction of BB.

First post of the thread is the introduction of everyone and who we are.

We've been nothing but open to everyone. If you have a question, simply ask it. Quit posting negative things (and especially drop this "favoritism" accusation). We've answered anything you've asked, aside from when you constantly throw out favoritism even after having been answered multiple times. until now moneypot was treating some apps and owners in a preferred way and for us it looks like as it goes on and we just asking for an equal treatment. what is wrong with this?

You don't have to "shut up." We, as MP, are here to work with all app owners. We don't play favoritism. Those that have concerns are more than free to voice them. I still don't understand where you're getting this flawed perception of playing favorites from. You know as much as any other app owner does. Your complaints (such as having dead sites on the "promoted" list) have been noted, as stated many times in the past, and will be fixed when we have control and can actually do something about it.

You've yet to raise a concern that we can answer to. And it's impossible to give an answer if you're not giving a question that has an answer.

A "more detailed" introduction of members is up to each of them to decide on. That said, you know of myself, Doge, ACoin LLC. Cyclops, Rio and Alex are other members, and if they come out and speak, that's on them. As it is, it's just been us other three that I'm aware of.

Feel free to post your opinions, but make them constructive. We can't help if you're giving nothing to help with. I've been nothing but forthcoming.

Be interesting to see how this new team ends up running moneypot and if they end up pulling a runner or not.

The original moneypot was an awesome site and the owner was actually a really decent individual to do business with.
Hopefully these new owners run the site just as well as he did, although the bar has been set pretty damn high in my opinion.
