I am extremely happy to announce the beta release of our Bitcoin megastore - Bitcoinin. Our current inventory consists of books, but we are working to sell a wide selection of other items very soon.

http://www.bitcoinin.com

We started this site because we were tired of not being able to purchase the items we wanted to with Bitcoins and we hope that the Bitcoin community as a whole will be as excited as we are to be able to purchase virtually any book you could want.

Things we hope you'll like about our service:

  • Free ground shipping on all orders over 5 BTC
  • Extremely fast checkout process
  • 30 day return policy
  • Payments are handled by BitPay
  • Your privacy is extremely important to us
  • ONLY Bitcoins are accepted and everything is priced in BTC - no awkward USD-to-BTC conversions displayed everywhere
  • We support the Bitcoin community - whenever possible we will purchase the goods and services we need with Bitcoin

During this beta release we are limiting shipping to the USA and we're shipping everything via ground until we get a better understanding of how much demand there is for this kind of service. We have many plans for expanding internationally, though, as well as adding expedited shipping options. Our primary focus is on product selection - making the items available to purchase with Bitcoin that currently aren't - and then working with our suppliers to reduce prices. The Bitcoin community's support and input will be the guiding force behind the direction and the speed of expansion, though, so if you have input on what products you'd like to see us offer, where you'd like to see us ship, or any other comments please let us know!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Please, see here.

Thanks for the advice.  We aren't new to the Bitcoin world - in fact, I had read that post when you had originally posted it.  My first BTC exchange happened over 18 months ago, a mining rig followed soon after, and we've made transactions with/over MtGox, BitFloor, BitStamp, BitInstant, #bitcoin-otc, and Bitcoinica.  We played fireduck's "Bitcoin Casino" before he sold the code to Erik and it became SatoshiDice.

We aren't looking to become Bitcoin celebrities or just make a quick buck.  We plan on being here for the long haul if the community appreciates the service - and, so far, it seems that they do.
