What's your story, how did you become interested in Bitcoin?

one of my friends told me about bitcoin one day about 3-4 years ago and although i found it interesting the first time, i was too lazy to follow up on it and start mining so i started a long time after that but i am glad that i have finally started using bitcoin and didn't just continue being lazy.

As the forum thread title says, I am interested in your Bitcoin story, how did you become interested in Bitcoin? 

I became interested in Bitcoin because my uncle was always making use of it and this one time I was just looking at what he was doing. So he taught me a couple of things about Bitcoin.

I became interested in btc reading a nice book talkin about deep web, then I started to inform and now I'm a crypto trader

before i was know bitcoin i'm a captcha typist and already get money from captcha company every weeks but typing for 6-8 hours per day makes me feel tired so i decide to find another way as my side online earnings and i got the way how to get bitcoin so since that i had combine both and my online earnings results looks very good with those way

when the price of bitcoin touching $1000, and I see my friends very busy talking about bitcoin, and since then I find out about bitcoin, and finally I am interested with bitcoin because it has a high value. I had thought that getting 1 BTC easy. but, damn it really hard, even harder to get 100k sat

Through a local daily newspaper in early 2014 and since then i got attached to it. Made $125 from $15 via trading but lost them all because i didnt enabled 2 factor auth. I am thankful to bitcoin because it showed me the trading world.

Oh well, I don't have a great story behind me about bitcoin, I only have that one day in my life that I was thinking what is that "wallet" thing that bitcoin collectors have and how will I have such, because each time I asked someone about bitcoin they tell me that I should have a wallet first, aside from the price, I was also amazed by the transaction that the one introduced bitcoin to me showed. From that time til now, that's the most memorable days that tied me to bitcoin til now.

As the forum thread title says, I am interested in your Bitcoin story, how did you become interested in Bitcoin? 

My story in bitcoin is awesome. Im just only chatting in facebook and searching group that gives a load and then i find the bitcoin group. First attempt in bitcoin earning is not good. Many scammers in facebook group scam my funds that i earned in faucets only and then i stopped in earning bitcoin. Second attempt now in bitcoin and there few mbtc in my wallet and i think that i bet in nba so that if i win i can deposit in Hashocean and then finally i won 0.0168+ something. And i deposit all. My friend suggest that earning here in bitcointalk and he teach me how to earn here. And now im earnig weekly 0.015 so now i have a regular job in home. Thats only my story about bitcoin.

My cusin who lives in NY said to me for bitcoin when he camed for visit in my country. In first i thought it was a easte of time but now i am addicted to it and i thank my cousin for teaching me this

It is began when I was googling about how to make money in internet and I saw "bitcoin" and when I look further I was surprised how can 1 coin worth of $450 after that I always collecting for bitcoin

i was always mad at payment processors like paypal when it comes to online payment so finding out about bitcoin was like a super good news granted bitcoin is not accepted as much as paypal but it is still much better than it.

Actually I used PTC websites for the last 3 years. And at, the late November of 2014, I saw "Bitcoin accepted here" logo in a PTC website on their payout page. So I just started to search about Bitcoin and created my first wallet at January 2015 at coinbase. And now I was somewhat interacted with Bitcoin.

started looking into other investments. even bonds and methods to buy bank debt contracts
started getting interested in how the banking system worked behind the scenes, how money creation happened and was so mind blown at the legalised scam of credit/debt.

after a few more searches came across bitcoin. read everything, the white paper, github code, and i was hooked. by spring 2012 i began trading it, and made nice profits off them early day volatility movements.

since then been more interested in the business side rather than day trading.

I was very new and excited that there is crypto currency and many people are using it. And slowly i cam to know from my friend about this forum and this will explain all my doubt through various topics.
The main thing is the value of BTC. when i convert to my regional currency am really shocked and started thinking what will happen if i earn BTC. So i started earning here.

I heard it in a newspaper back in 2013. I heard the pizza guy's story then i bought some. After i buy, a few days later, the gox thing started to happen. As many others, i thought bitcoin as a new pump and dump, easy money making device but i was wrong. (actually i was right but in this case, i couldn't succeed) I did some pump and dumps, in the end, i got out nearly even. :p
