Bitcoin hit $1,000,000:
if i don't have a heart attack i will buy a big ass boat

Bitcoin hit  $1,000 again:
i sell my coins and use the fiat to pay my loans and invest the remaining.

Bitcoin stayed where it was:
continue the way i am using bitcoin, trading and holding!

Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents:
die Cheesy

Buying the dip...

I'm sure most people hope to spend it and that it is worth much much more. I personally hope that it is commonly used by all at that point. We will see.

I would keep on spending my bitcoins irrespective of the value that it holds, I mean  just holding for 20 years would be a foolish thing to do, I would spend and buy again when the price is lower.

Greetings all. I'd like to know what you would do if your bitcoin did one of the following, as I am a little confused about what I'll do myself...

What would you do if:

Bitcoin hit $1,000,000:
Bitcoin hit  $1,000 again:
Bitcoin stayed where it was:
Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents:
And which of these do you think is most probable?

Thanks for your opinions,

 -Lags
if that all happen,i dont too much care,i just care about what i have, keep earn and sell bitcoin when i need to do it. its simple i think

Exactly, we don't need to see what is the price of bitcoin, if we need money and if we have to sell we would surely sell it off, as if it is not used at the time of emergencies the it would be useless to hold without using it.

If it depreciates to cents then I will keep holding it until it appreciates...

But I think it will appreciate to million dollars in 20 years and I will buy a house with my 1 BTC...  Cool

Bitcoin hit $1,000,000: i would just celebrate being rich. In fact, i would store most, buy a yacht and might even get ready for retirement.
Bitcoin hit  $1,000 again: I will some an maybe buy some stuff on steam.
Bitcoin stayed where it was: i will keep doing what I am doing now and TRY and store up BTC
Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents: i will quit it for good unless some miracle happens and BTC soars back up

The most reasonable of the options would be Bitcoin hit  $1,000 again, or it stays where it is.

PS: these would only happen if i had BTC in the first place.

In 20 years I'd like to retire - that is if BTC will still be worth something. Let's just hope.

hahaha...if bitcoins price is above $1000 then its really good to retire then with just our bitcoin savings, but if price drops again, I think it would be hard to retire with just bitcoin in our hands., but if you are paying your insurances, then its really worth it, bitcoin would be an extra money..  Smiley

I honestly think only of saving. I think that fact very much when I go save.
And I also earn some money to it.
I'm not really as a person who is going to spend money.
Same is here, I am saving all my earnings to my wallet and waiting for the price to touch at least $1000, then will start my time after that I will stop my saving and will start a big offline business, and then I will have a big income with that.. Bitcoin will definitely help me to earn wealth.

For the first three my answer is the same as your second one, with bitcoin I will repay some of my loans from my friends, and the remain will be invested in some good business. But if it gone worthless, then it will be very heart paining for me.

Twenty years I will most likely be dead from bad life choices,so I would not worry to much about what the bitcoin is up to.
Maybe scrounging on the floor for some form of pain killer as I rock myself to sleep, well the zombies try to break the front door.
Will be like a old hotmail account maybe and you can send a super slow transaction that is now done in our heads.
Cyborgs that we will be,is my guess!

I would like to make a lot of money with it the bitcoin by trading.
The point is that the bitcoin is unpredictable.
So maybe it will not even survive this 20 years.

I think Bitcoin could survive for more than 20 years , because it's already growing up and the number of its supporters is increasing daily

Bitcoin can basically survive for 100 more years if nothing better than the Blockchain comes out. Bitcoin is open source which means everything can be updated when needed to make it future proof. I only hope the developers will work together much better than they are doing right now. Ego's have been destroying plenty of multi billion companies already. We don't want that to happen with Bitcoin.

I think that in a few years, Bitcoin will have shot up and it could be worth around $4000+ but no one knows. If it stayed at $1,000, I'd like to probably buy a proper house and a nice car then keep the rest for saving.
